I did check the battery. Ran a ctek charger on it overnight, didn't change a thing. I love the lift gate but after these dramas and the cost of replacement I hate it.

Hello, I have a 2014 Kluger Grande. The power tailgate is working temperamentally. I've checked the glove box switch and rear hatch window but the tailgate works sometimes and sometimes gives me a long beep and unlocks the tailgate but doesn't move. Heaps of content on the Highlander in the US, some sort of class action going but nothing like that here. I'm at the point of changing the power to manual struts, anyone have any success fixing this problem or replacing the power struts with manual ones? Thanks.

it's not that the offset will be too aggressive or not, they may not fit. brake may scrap the wheel.

aren't euro's 5x114.3 too? check offset & width match

i always get distracted when i look at the manual, always find something new and a quick 2 minute session turns out to be a bedtime story..

i guess i'm being way too picky. first new car i've owned, so i have the tendency to say everything should be perfect.. then again it 12 months old now, wow time goes quick. service from toyota is good enough, hey as long as i can keep paying $120 for servicing i'm happy.

i would prefer whiteline because of word of mouth. i had a friend who decked this RS impreza out with whiteline and it was awesome. man i really want to lower my car.. anyone found any cheap stuff?

ok, finally got my 20k service done. I told the serviceman about the noisy tappets and he said he'll look into it, but did mention that it could be the injectors. so i did get the injectors cleaned in the service as it is "recommended" every 12 months. i picked up the car and was told that there is nothing above the norm with my tappets. so i thought it was my injectors, started the car and popped the hood and what do you know, i have a cricket going off like crazy in my engine bay. i didn't bother taking it up with the service center as all the mech's went home and only office staff remained. If my tappets are what they are meant to sound like i'll chuck the rolla in the bin tomorrow. my '89 civic was quieter that this.

DIY'ing is not that hard, it just takes time and a little know how. i'm 1/2 way doing my own subs and amp off the standard headunit (taken 30mins so far), just stuck with the remote wire because i can't seem to access the cigarette lighter. i'm the process of finding a new source of 12v. i've decided to make sure that no wires are exposed what so ever with the amp under the passenger seat, all wiring is under the carpet or behind covers. probably take max 2hrs asif pay $200 + for audio job like that.
