    Timing Belt

what is a wide body camry ? lots of info on google about how to change timing belt..
  3. i don't know if I had the same situation as you now. I also had vibration coming thru the steering wheel, later on, I found out it was due to overtightten of the front wheel nuts. best for you is to get a torque wrench, and check if the wheel nuts have the correct tension. which should be 77Ftp or 104Nm.
  4. Which brand on Ebay did you buy? Could you give me a link to the item? Thanks! All high quality ones: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Wireless-LCD-Displa...A1%7C240%3A1318 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Car-Colour-LCD-Park...A1%7C240%3A1318 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Car-Colour-LCD-Park...A1%7C240%3A1318 this is a seller called SOLDSMART at ebay, don't ever buy anything from him. he also sells parking sensors.. Lowest quality ever!!!! I wouldn't buy Toyota genuine parking sensors as the price is ridiculous!!!
  5. keeping the oil but got oil filter changed back to Toyota one, I feel a little bit better however engine noise is still louder than before. Thanks AK....you are wasting of your money by just change to toyota genuine oil filter. you won't see any improvement by just change the oil filter. its got nothign to do with the oil filters. a bottle of 5L castrol magnatec 10w-40 won't cost you more than 30$. I don't see any points that you dont' change the oil..
  6. i am driving a camry 2.4L vvt i engine. I always use castrol magnatec 10w-40. its pretty good oil protects engine as well. last time, I serviced my car from toyota dealer, they also used mobil Super 10w-40 motor oil. "5w-30, 10w-30, or 10w -40 are all just oil viscosity that for "temperature range anticipated before next oil change" you could even use 20w-50 cheapest motor oil for your vvt-i engine without a problem. car engines are not that sensentive. as long as you have correct level of engine oil, you can will run good. regardless of what oil you actually use by the way, Owners manual is written by toyota, of course toyota wants you to buy all parts from dealers. anyway, I never believe about genuine parts except the toyota super long life coolant, which i couldn't get from anywhere else.
  7. i don't see any points why would you need to change ur tran fluid for this car ? in the service manual, you are not necessary need to replace it .
  8. best is to change your 5w-30 oil & filters to castrol magnatec 10w-40 or any mobil 15w-40 & toyota geniune filter first if the problem still there, then go to toyota dealers..
  9. those people work there are really careless of your car! last time I also got oil overfilled. and changed myself actually. if you could DIY, then DIY. don't let them touch your car anymore. its a joke that toyota always advertise that noboday knows your toyota better than us
  10. i have a 05model 2.4L camry sportivo I always use 91ron from caltex or shell I tried BP 98,shell 98.. never noticed any difference. so stick with 91ron from caltex and shell
  11. the quality of toyota geniune parking sensors are very good. but the price is also not cheap. I think the parking sensors would cost 260$ -350$ just for the parts however, you could get a good quality off ebay as well, I bought mine from ebay, which is 6sensors with LCD display. guess how much? only 90$ included postage. don't buy 30$ 4 parking sensors from ebay. its really low quality. won't last long. trust me. I installed it myself, which costs me around 3hrs. its all done now..works great. :D :D
  12. :D :D well done!!! great work!! better than what I did before I actually didn't even take off the rear bumper...
  13. u don't have to check it man..... trans oil could be used for 5-7 years without add in anything
