Ridge man

This is a picture taken from the engine oil filler hole. I would like to try and desludge the motor myself if this is a option

Hi Ashly i really appreciate your feed back. The engine has 135K on the clock by memory it missed 3 services. Its blowing whit smoke on start up, usually more if its been sitting for a while say overnight. The Mechanic is not a Toyota specialist he's just your run of the mill every day mechanic. I have had 2 opinions from 2 different mechanics the first one who services the car know originally told me to sell the car or replace the engine now he is saying to pull it out strip it down clean it a put new seals and bearings which it about a 5-6k Job The second mechanic is telling me to put a aurion motor in as it is cheaper than a kluger motor and can get one with less Km's on it. If there is a desludging option i would be more than happy to look at that if it fixes it.

I have got a 2013 toyota kluger and we have been told by the mechanic that the engine has sludging. I am looking at putting a second hand motor in. I have been given a option of putting a Aurion motor in. Just after some feedback and suggestions please
