  1. Hi TomToyMan My 2008 ATX has the same oil leak. What was done to fix your oil leak? Thanks in advance.
  2. Hi Campbeam. My 2008 ATX is experiencing a similar problem. How did you resolve your issue? Thanks.
  3. Hi All. Noticed fluid leaking down an exhaust hanger/bracket the other day. Unsure of source or fluid type. Small amount of fluid on garage floor when car is parked overnight. No fluid level warnings or anything noticeable, car drives well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  4. I just booked my 2008 ATX in at local Newcastle dealership. I called Toyota 1800 869 682 and pressed 3 for Recalls. I spoke to a very pleasant and professional Toyota representative whom confirmed the recall after I provided the VIN. I was then transferred to a local dealership, after a short wait while details were being transferred I was able to make the booking. Thanks to all the contributors - it's good to know this will be fixed before it is a problem because of you.
  5. Hi Matt Twixter Thanks for the detailed information and encouragement. I replaced the B1S2 oxygen sensor with a new Denso one and deleted the 420 error code with Bluetooth OBD yesterday - first bit of repair work I've done in over 30 years. The error code usually reappears before 150 KMs after being deleted, so I will monitor and see how it goes. Thanks again for your help.
  6. Hi. First post in this forum. I have a 2008 Aurion with ~300,000kms that has been regularly serviced. Recent the car threw the dreaded PO420 code (Bank 1 cat outside threshold). My mechanic says it's the Bank 1 catalytic converter. My exhaust specialist says the cat is fine. The OBDC Bank 1 sensor 1 and sensor 2 voltages indicate the cat is fine. The engine light is permanently on that throws the both the VSC and TC lights as they are turned off. I replaced the petrol cap with a new original cap - all the lights are still on. I've also used several fuel cleaners without result. My attention has now turned to a potential loose hoses. Some of my hoses have no clips but have nothing to compare them to. Is anyone able to provide details photos of engine bay hoses so I can compare them. Thanks in advance.
