    Job done. I didn't need to use the trim removal tools after all - grabbing thew centre of the bottom as Tony suggested and pulling it out worked better than I expected. There were no circular clips as shown in the Camry video (example below) as the pins were held in place by the bracket they pass through. All up a simpler task than expected.

    Thanks for your advice Tony. The Youtube video makes it look simple but I did notice the difference with the vents. My trim removal tools are on order and hopefully they are up to the job!

    Is it possible to remove and replace the lid from the centre console on a GSV50R (2013) Aurion please? I've had a bit of a look around without success so any suggestions would be appreciated.
