I have a 1996 80 series petrol auto.(Engine type FZJ -80) Have just experienced a similar experience as Rick Davis's wife. The engine did restart automatically after a few minutes delay I did not notice any dash light issues as I was very busy controlling a vehicle with no power steering and limited braking in busy Sydney Australia traffic! Do not wish to drive vehicle on any trip until the problem can be diagnosed and fixed. Is the EFI relay the culprit? Any other suggestions?
