  1. From what i can see, the door is held on by a elastic string so it gets it's snap back from them. There plastic piece that acts as a hinge that is broken. The groove in the door is still fine. I will have to see if i can glue this and get the door in the right spot. Very annoying because every bump or quicker takeoff causes the door to fly open
  2. It's been a while since i have posted something on here but the little door above the ash tray on my 03 sportivo broke. I have called Toyota and they quoted $246 for the whole console as they do not sell the door seperately. Does anyone have this part lying around? Or know of a cheaper solution?
  3. Yeah your absolutely right. I have a twin tip on my muffler and it is louder I drove around with a single for a few days initially and found that through the rev range the single was quieter than when i put the twin on. Pitty as the twin looks better and the twin is what remained
  4. Im sorry Kenji but Toyota aren't advertising the Corolla as much as the other manufacturers with their equivalent models and the Corolla is still outselling them by a country mile. So those execs at Toyota are not going to even bother since they have such a good formula that's working so well
  5. Well my kitchen scales could be wrong.
  6. Spotted IMBOSS at 7:15 on Keira St wollongong this morning
  7. The corolla sportivo is way over the 125 as well. Ive seen a few guys on P's driving them when i was in Melbourne
  8. For $150, im pretty sure that you are going to get crappy tyres @ 19"
  9. http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/driver...2760531098.html A man has been caught speeding at 203kmh in a Toyota Corolla in Sydney's west, police say. The 23-year-old was observed allegedly speeding in a 110kmh zone on the M4 on Wednesday night. After being pulled over by police, he was administered a roadside breath test which returned a reading of 0.05. He had his licence confiscated on the spot and is due to appear in Windsor Local Court on February 28. In a separate incident, another male driver will appear at Bankstown Local Court on March 5 after allegedly driving at 154kmh in a 70kmh area of the Hume Highway at Chullora, in Sydney's west.
  10. Dude if your girlfriend/wife drives the car as well then the HD clutch may not be the way to go.
  11. Don't you lift weights as well man? Certainly looked like you did. Yeah i do, I also do martial arts
  12. I was thinking of getting 2 x 12" subs when i got mine initially. The salesman basically said because the boot is small you need to point the sub east/west and having 2 x 12" would cause the bass to bounce of each other and sound very poor even though the sub may be an expensive one
  13. We have the Runx also known as the sportivo. If i was you i would buy the Runx, fuel consumption is not an issue. There is another topic that talks about fuel consumption, do a search and you will see that we are getting very good fuel economy from these cars
  14. Not to mention the hidden speed camera's behind road signs or the blind side of bridges!!!
  15. I think that your 700km should only be a guide, there are too many variables to consider such as type of driving (heavy or light foot), road type(freeway or city) and road condition.
  16. The way that rollamods made it sound it'll only take you a weekend
  17. My high pressure cleaner uses around 7 lt/min. Those new watersaver shower heads use 9lt/min.
  18. Im a big ford fan, but would i own one? Not at the moment. I posed this question to a Ford Salesmen, which in-turn told me that if toyota made a better built car i should go there. I asked "Why in 2007 (it was at that time) in the world of technology and the like does an australian built car still have panels (interior and exterior) that do not align correctly and all the squeeks and rattles to boot? Our build quality is 20 years behind the rest of the world!!! When you buy an old muscle car, you buy the motor, the body and interior more than likely are going to be redone.
  19. It also helps when you have a silver beast!! LOVE silver for hiding dirt!!
