  1. If you filled up not long after the fuel light came on you should have only needed around 55 litres. The tanks capacity is 70 litres. So taking this into consideration you have actually had quite reasonable fuel economy.
  2. This site has steering wheel control adaptors that suit the Aurion/Camry and JVC head units PAC website. The unit you may be after is the SWI-Jack. Installers can supply these or you can usually find them on ebay.
  3. Link to AusCam Website The camcrew site no longer exists.
  4. Im keen. Its been a long while since I was out there last. We will see what the TRD can do! 1.07.92 is my PB in a gen 4 Camry V6.
  5. I know its not a complete set but I do have 3 from a VZV21 if that is what you are looking for.
  6. have a look at the ipod radio thingo adaptor Are you referring to an IPOD FM Modulator so that I can "tune" one of the FM radio channels into my IPOD? If yes, I already have 2 or 3. Work ok, a bit of static, but they do drain the batteries (IPOD or their own) and I'm not completely satisfied with the sound clarity. Also found that if I'm on a long drive, I have to change channels as I come across some interference due to overlap. In some relatively late model cars that I've rented over the past few years on holidays, I've had a simple audio input 3.5mm jack which was marvelous for audio quality. A proper IPOD interface would also charge the IPOD, allow you to navigate/control the IPOD via your car's audio controls (handy if you have steering wheel controls). Even better would be the ability to get all the IPOD data on your car's audio screen! Would make navigating so much easier... Sorry this is off topic I have one of these in my Aurion and also my wifes Camry from this company Vaistech Ipod adaptor which I purchased from here MP3 Your Car Aurion adaptor Aurion with SatNav adaptor. They work quite well, just operate with playlists though, which you can have up to 99 with 99 songs in each. Oh and they just plug into the spare CD changer socket on the head unit with no other wiring needed.
  7. If you guys like the way the Aurion handles with the strut brace you will love it with the rear sway bar fitted as well :D
  8. Donaldson filters have rubber adaptors that can give the flex that you guys may be after. I know its probably not as cool looking as silicon hose, but will take away the risk of an intake coming off. http://www.donaldsonfilters.com.au/engine-...tion/sub16cat16 page 50-52 of this pdf (AustNZ Air Catalogue.pdf) file at the bottom of the page.
  9. The press release in question was on a public web site http://www.pressroom.com.au/home.asp?clientID=2 before the embargo time.
  10. The TRD ones are supposed to be Ferodo HP 1000 compound pads. How many kms did you get out of them??
  11. I will be VERY interested to see your impressions on how much it improves the handling! or even come and show us at the meet tonight ;) I have them both fitted! Took about an hour for both. Should be out tonight at the loop.
  12. I got my strut brace and rear sway bar from Ultra Racing yesterday, so they will be going in this afternoon with some luck!
  13. Im not going to able to make as the Toyota Nationals are on in Dubbo over Easter.
  14. The HP figures from the dyno are correct because if you work it out it falls into the range that would be expected. 241kW = 323HP @ fly wheel - drive train loses of 20 to 25% = 193/180kW or 258/242HP @ the wheels. Yes it may have gone better if traction/tie down issues didn't occur but the maths doesn't lie.
  15. Advertise it on Toyota nation and make a profit! AU$1500 is around US$800 for someone over there. They are sure to go for it as the old TRD superchargers for the gen4 Camrys were US$2500 new.
  16. I hope to be out tonight as I havent been out on a Thursday for a while.
  17. $200k and it has so many gen 4 Camry interior bits its not funny. Manual aircon in a car that expensive!
  18. Thats what she said When that button is off, both front and rears are off for me. The same deal for me, once pressing the parking sensor button to off, both front and rears ceased to work. I stand corrected. I just tried it in the garage and the park sensor button controls both front and rear.
  19. The TRDs use an external cooler as well as the in radiator transmission cooler. Have you thought about using a ScanGauge II with the XGauge to monitor the temps?
  20. That button is only for the front sensors. The rears are controlled by the gear selector being in reverse.
  21. Here is an article I found on the Whiteline site, its from Hot 4s magazine on coilovers and the pros and cons.
