  1. Hi all, Just after some help from wiser heads. I own a 2000 hilux space cab and the radio has recently stopped working (won’t turn on at all). I disconnected the head unit and tested the plug and found that it has 12v from the ignition but no volts on the blue/yellow constant 12v pin. I then bypassed this wire by running a cable directly from the battery to the pin, plugged in the head unit and found it worked - only trouble was there was no sound coming from the passenger side door speaker. Could anyone shed some light on a possible cause (or fix??) for this issue? I removed the plug with the green and blue cables from the speaker and from the connection point under the passenger footwell, tested and the two cables seem fine. As such I’m inclined to believe the wiring issue is between the head unit plug and the footwell. Greatly appreciate any assistance that may save me a visit to the auto elec, cheers 👍🏼
