  1. The quote for Kumho KU31 is from Tempe Tyres in NSW, the same shop! Since I'm in Melbourne (metro area) they said that it will be $200 including shipping. And I added $20 for balancing and fitting. Emm.. So far 2 for Kumho and 3 for Falken..
  2. Hi All, Thank you for all the replies for my previous posting. Yes, I'll go for profile 45 tyres as you all recommended. I've got 2 quotes as below and seeking your advice one more time. Kumho KU31 235/45R18 ($220) Falken FK452 225/45R18 ($225) Considering that I'm just a 'normal' driver, which one would you recommend? (I though sometimes enjoy acceleration and cornering) Thank you all! Hyo Kim
  3. Hi All, It was time to change the original rubbers and I thought that I might upgrade the wheels as well so I grabbed Kappa 18 inch wheels from eBay. From previous postings I figured out that original tyre size for 18 inch wheels are 225/45R18. However, those size are quite expensive (>$320 in Melbourne) and I want to put something around $200. So here is the question. Can I put 235/40R18 on them? I know that the diameter of tyre + wheel will be a little small, but I was wondering whether they would be good in operational aspect. Welcome for any inputs! Thank you, Hyo Kim
  4. Hi, I'm looking for an Aurion Sportivo OEM grill from a silver ash car. Just PM, ring or message me on 0422 146 513. Thank you, Hyo p.s. I'll delete this post when I got the grill

  6. Oh, I was serious when I posted the question up. I think I'll just clean it up again and put some grease on it. Thanks 'the random hero'
  7. Hi, It's been a year since I got an Aurion and noticed rust on the towball from few months ago. I cleaned it once using scratch removal but got rusted again quite quickly. Is it normal or should I replace the towball? Thanks! Hyo
  8. Yesterday I went to nearby Repco and bought a spray can of Dupli-color wheel coating (silver colour). They didn't have any touch up paint but that one. I used small container to collect paint and tiny brush to paint on the wheel. Emm.. I think it looks alright, works just like touch up paint on the car body. The can is quite big, so I think I can get a few more scratches! =) Image from the web
  9. Hi All, My Aurion's front rims got few scratchs from the kerb and wish to fix them with touch up paint. What kind of touch up paint should I buy for the rims? Does Toyota have genuine touch up paint for the rims or do I need to get an aftermarket one? Thanks!
  10. Hi All, Thank you for your advices and concern. I'll let you know the progress of the case. (actually there isn't much progress) After 7 days of posting this thread, which was 15 Feb, We (my friend who is the official owner of the car and me) firmly notified the dealer that we're not going to pay for the extra but we'll stick to the original contract. Since then we haven't heard anything from the dealer. I assume the dealer might have managed the problem within their dealership. Even if they go after a regal process, we've decided to stick to the original contract and play along with it. If that (regal process) happens, I'll let you guys know. Thanks.
  11. I have only little knowledge about how SC works, but I think all Aurion models have VSC, across the range.
  12. Last Friday I had my car tinted with 3M film. I rang 3M and they directed me to one of their local distributors. It's 35%, but looks more deeper than that. So far so good!
  13. Thanks for the post! I did it and it's working just what I wanted!
  14. Thank you all for the replies. As some of you mentioned one of my major concern is my friend. Since this is the problem with the dealership, I think his position in Toyota wouldn't be compromised because of this. But still I need to have further discussion about it with him. As he and I know all the purchase went through proper measures. Yes, I'll read the fine letters in the contract again and might post some questions to make it crystal clear. Thank you again and will let you know the progress.
  15. Thanks wishbone, I think, for me, this forum is the only route for the information related to cars.
