all fixed now... the blender/ mixer motor jammed up. i got a friend who is an auto elec to replace this.... instead of taking the dash out. he cut out the motor and replaced this with a metal pin and gear with another motor. he then made a plate and reattached it over the top of the cut out. this saved him from removing the complete dash.

mine is a single climate control. i spoke to toyota and they said it was a mixer tap or something. at $99 p/h to diagnose i will pull it apart myself and find the cause... will update tonight if i find it =)

Hi all. My aircon in my aurion sportivo seems to be half cold. The driver side is nice and cold. Approx 4deg whereas the passenger side is blowing out at approx 15 deg. Is there a blender flap or something that may be jammed? Is this a dash out job to fix? Summer is here for another couple months and a new born is on the way :/ Thanks

OK, here goes... Thought id get a TRD steering wheel on my car so a DIY job at home, pulled it all apart and put the new one back on. While tearing it apart the clockspring came out with it and now assembled again it is throwing the 'Check VSC System' at me with the traction control light lit also. Have i screwed the clock spring or is it misaligned? Can i realign this or will i need a new clockspring assembly for the car? Ahhh CRAP!

Wonder the same... as we know Toyota overspec their engines like the Supra
