  1. G’Day Tony, well written mate. I am 64yrs and still love the trill and interest of trying to make an already well engineered car, perform better. yes it is a notable improvement with the new bush kit, both with crisp sharp steering over the original factory set up. The new wheel alignment set up will stay in that new position over the factory alignment position as you now have a double offset bush setup. As for tyre ware, you will have a lot better tyre stance on the road surface, as your tyres thread will sit more flush to the surface of the road. this performance bush kit gives positive castor on both sides of your car, which in hand gives perfect geometry through your steering. cheers, mate 👍
  2. Hello All, You want to make your Aurion 40 or 50 series handle and get rid of that unwanted Understeer, so it feels more like driving a GT (Grand Tourer) than a every day family sedan. Just completed the Suspension upgrade on my 50 Sportivo SX6. *Installed Super Pro Front Control Arm, Lower Inner Rear Bush Kit with Double Offset. *Hardrace 19mm Rear Adjustable Sway Bar with connecting White Line Adjustable Extra Heavy Duty Sway Bar Links. The wheel alignment technician then did a four wheel alignment giving the car positive castor on both sides with steering geometry dead centre through the middle. Well took the car for a test drive through some twisty open road under extra throttle and the difference from standard was completely outstanding. The Aurion never once felt nervous with minimal body roll and crisp predictable steering. Guys if you want your beloved Aurion to be the goods, you MUST do this Suspension Upgrade. Your tyres will also perform and last a whole lot longer, as your tyres tread is planted nice and flush to the road. I also have completed my performance exhaust system, with a notable improvement over the standard. 👍 Will post a run down and a sound video shortly ! I now have writers cramp in my fingers 🤣
  3. G’Day Tony, ok I will take some pics and do a sound job soon. The response on the throttle is so much crisper and the tail pipe sound has a lovely bark when under throttle, with no unwanted droning in the cabin. my exhaust bloke told me to leave the middle factory resonator as it is large enough to flow well and it cancels out unwanted exhaust sound frequencies and helps to stop droning. 👍
  4. Ok, finished the aftermarket performance exhaust on my GSV50 Sportivo, with a notable improvement. The factory rear mufflers (besser blocks) inlet & outlet exhaust pipe size is 2 inches. Thought to put this out there, because no one was forthcoming with my information request. Thanks.
  5. Hi guys, I have been told that the GSV50 Aurion has a 24mm front Sway Bar and that the Aurion Sportivo is 25mm, same as the GSV40 Aurion TRD. Purchased Nolathane ID 24mm front Sway Bar mount bushes, hopefully I can squeeze them into the 25mm front sway bar. thanks.
  6. Hello all, Diameter of front Sway Bar on GSV50 Aurion Sportivo. Looking for aftermarket front Sway Bar bush mounts, but no seller has this model listed. Even looked over seas for bushes for the Camry XV50, same equivalent car, but still no luck. Just need to know the diameter of the factory front bar and I will fit bushes to suit. I have heard that the diameter is 24mm ? Thank you all.
  7. Thank you, hope my info helps you. cheers 🤙
  8. Hi mate, recently had my standard GSV50 Aurion SX6 17 inch rims done at the local panel shop. Stripped the tyres and thoroughly cleaned before applying epoxy primer and two coats of black gloss. They also baked the spray job. great finish, tuff as nails. good luck, cheers.
  9. Hi mate, recently purchased rear window spoiler for my GSV50 Aurion SX6. I hear that the rear window on the 40 series is the same as 50 series. I have copied this link from EBay seller, just message seller and ask. seller also has web site; spoilers & wings ? Some thing like that, just google rear window spoiler for Toyota Aurion, the site should come up. Just make sure you have another person to help install, definitely 2 people install. Hope this has helped you. good luck. Cheers. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/253535000013?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=3ExKCdWaRom&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=tVdXuw7dThO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  10. Exhaust information please. Does anyone know the exact exhaust pipe size for the inlet side of the rear mufflers on the Aurion GSV50 Sportivo SX6. I can’t get down to measure as my hips are stuffed. Would appreciate any help thanks. 🤙
