    Looking at purchasing a 2006 2.4L RAV 4 . 4x4 with an automatic transmission , does anyone know if that transmission is a CVT or the normal geared transmission , I have been told by an auto transmission workshop that the CTV transmission is not suitable for towing , and i intend to tow a small aluminium boat. Thanks in advance ,, Steve
