  1. Hey everyone, it is I ssjTitan back again after a long absence from the forums. *Waves* Well whats happened over the last 6 months? Finished studying, started working (which means money to spend on my 03 Levin) reversed into a concrete column. Now to the whole point of this topic, which is to vent my fustration at Toyota...again, and ask for some help. Over the course of the 2 years that ive had my Rolla ive had a constant 'ticking' sound while idle and driving. I had asked Toyota what was causing this sound when I took it in for the last 2 services, and 1st was told that there was a crack in one of the extractor pipes, but that it wasnt a big issue, and then told on my last service that it was the flexi pipe between the CAT and extractors. After having the car looked at by an exhaust specialist i was told that the flexi joint was fine, minor bend on the internal piece, but was given the shocking news that of the 4 extractor pipes, one was cracked so you could see straight through, two where on their way out, and only one was still intact. So after getting it fixed my rolla sounds great and even, maybe only in my head, feels different. :D The thing that really bugs me is that I specifically asked Toyota to find out what was making the noise so that it can get fixed once and for all, how hard can it be to see that the extractors are royaly f&^ked!?! I understand that they wont fixed it with it being a non-stock extractor, but they should have still told me. So now after this and several other issues with them, I have decided not to take my rolla back to Toyota and am looking for a good servicing shop that have experience with stock and modded toyotas that will give me good advice, and not take me for a ride. Thanks in advance, and sorry, looking back at my topics it seems like whenever im on here its to vent about Toyota :P Cheers ssjTitan
  2. head to a wreckers and get it 2nd hand if ur just gonna stick with the stock setup that way any zorst shop should b able to put it on no fabrication no mucking about .... straight swap Thanks xoom but its already got an aftermarket extractor on it, its just another of the mods toyota didnt tell me about before I bought the car.
  3. Ok I got my 2003 Corolla back from toyota today after a general service, I was told that there was a crack in my extractor. So my questions are: How much should I be braced to spend on a replacement? And also if there are any good exhaust businesses in Perth could you put the details up on here?! Cheers.
