  1. Hi, newbie here. Sorry if I have done this incorrectly and I know this is an old post but I have a couple of questions if I may, 1. Just purchased a 2008 Corolla (10th Gen) that has a 6 speed gear box. Has 116,000kms on the clock. As far as I am aware the gearbox oil has never been changed. The service schedule in the book only says to “Inspect” every 40,000kms. This is a bit concerning to me. I change my 2002 Corolla (5 speed) gearbox oil every 40,000kms (has 185,000kms on the clock) 2. I see that the quantity of oil needed for the 6 speed is 2.3litres. I am assuming this is just so you know how much oil to buy? I “fill to spill” from the fill port on my 2002 5 speed gearbox. Would the 6 speed bee the same? Thanks and regards
