LC 200 2013 model with 80,000 klms.
same issue as above. Traction, engine and 4LO lights when towing the caravan. Limp mode then full shutdown. Remove battery cables to get home. No codes so we got a transmission service and try again. This time a week later we get 70klms and same thing happened, break down. Call racv to get the codes, they arrived with a non compatible scanner. Remove cables. Go home.
notice very very high diesel consumption, go to mechanic and get the upgrade chip removed. Go home and push EGR diesel cleaner through and use the door lock unlock trick to clear the dash lights . Now to tow the van again and see where we are in terms of repair. Next step will be a scanner. This is a monster problem with Toyota unable to assist unless you break down in their work shop
