  1. I'm having the exact same problem!!! Unfortunately I don't have a solution, but I'm sure someone here will help us out ;) Edit: Just change the sys file to 4800 were it says "Baud Rate". I should've thought of that earlier, silly me!
  2. Hey guys! I'm from Point Cook.
  3. Hey DJKOR! I'm guessing you've had no luck with being able to modify the User Interface like some of our friends over at the VW forum have? Are you running Win CE 4.2 which means this would not be possible to do? I've played around with the software that allows you to change the UI, but haven't had much luck with it, I'm guessing you haven't either? It's a shame cause I hate the UI on this model and it would be awesome if we could easily change it.
  4. Oh great work!!! Thanks DJKOR! I'm starting to get tired of the boring UI too and it would be great if something can be done about it. Gonna check out the thread and see what's going on.
  5. Trust me, you are wasting your money by paying someone to install this type of unit. I was concerned about doing it myself too cause I'm no way an expert at this doing this type of thing, but I thought "what the hey!" and gave it a go. It was soooo easy and I believe any novice can do it with ease! It's virtualy 100% plug in and play. Only custom wiring involved is to do with watching DVD's. Not a big issue and plently of people here (including me) would be happy to help you out with this.
  6. I recommend you definitely get a unit that is specific to the Camry/Aurion. The installation is so simple, it’s plug in play and anyone can do it! The dashboard setup looks much better also as the units look very OEM!!! Have a look at EBay, there’s some good one’s on there.
  7. LOL!!! Ryda are an absolute laughing stock!!! I can't believe they are still insisting that the unit won't suit the Aurion! I'm soooo very embarrassed for them I might send them an email if I can be bothered letting them know how incompetant they are.
  8. The people you are dealing with at Ryda Car Audio are clearly on drugs!!! How can they not know that this unit will 100% suit your Aurion!! The manufacturer they are seeking advice from is probably in China and would very likely have no idea what an Aurion is?? Tell them to get their facts and right and becuase they have stuffed you around by giving you misinformation, ask for a further discount on the unit Nice price at the moment though!
  9. Not really an issue with these tyres in my opinion. So I got to say pretty good on that front.
  10. I should mention, the tyres are Sumitomo ZIII's (Japanese made) and I couldn't be happier with the ride!! Amazing tyres for the price!!!
  11. 19's are the way to go in my opinion. These are going real cheap at the moment (in 18's, 19's & 20's). Let me know if anyone's interested.
  12. I quickly ran downstairs and followed the instructions (by following the remote presses), and with a cheer of joy, my head unit is back to normal. I am one happy guy again. That's freaky...I would have thought the reset button would default all settings (including video) back to factory values??? Anyway, that's good news for all and great service from Rob!!! Btw, I think this same unit is selling on ebay direct from Hong Kong (if my memory serves me correct). Might save a few dollars on the "Buy It Now" purchase price but I guess u wouldn't get the same after-sales service as u are currently getting from Rob... Item Number: 180258785459 - Buy It Now Price (incl. freight to AUS) $794.00 I noticed this unit a week or so ago too. I bet you however, it's one of the older style units that displays the "Camry" logo when listening to DVD's. I bit off-putting I think.
  13. I got version 14 for a mate from here: (Sorry, removed link. Google it and you should be able to find it. If not, send me a PM and I'll point you in the right direction) works perfectly too! Saved him $395 so he was was rapped!!!
  14. As I mentioned in my post the other day, the sound that you get out of this unit vs stock unit is unbelievably better!
