I don't want to know. But I did buy the DVD interactive game on the weekend and it kicks a**. Leroy has a point when it's been put to bed then I want to know who and however many stigs, and who set the record.
  2. If I remember correctly, it is legal to have a radar detector in WA, don't think you can in the other states though Correct repeat offenders often get jail sentences too so I hear
  3. DONT SPEED hmmmm reminds of trace busta busta busta's ..... that'll bust ya trace busta busta busta busta busta's. (Shocking attempt to quote "The Big Hit")
  4. That was my thoughts too... however as it turns out it was a busted dissy. Which caused the injectors "foul". Once the new dissy was put in it and a injector cleaner was applied right as rain. Back on the road cruising better then ever now.
  5. I was on my way to work this morning and all of a sudden the car starts jerking and spluttering, then it corrected itself so I thought nothing of it. But it happened more fequently to which I realised the orange tap (check) light was on then my oil, battery and almost all my lights went on, on my dash. Then once that happened i had no power at all then it would die. I would then turn the key it'd work for a while then do it over and over again. I eventually stop start stop started all the way back to my parents place to borrow another car etc... I was wondering whether it was a battery or injection problem? I know I need a tune up but would that have caused this to happen?? Please help as I'm not at all familar with injection engines. Its a 1992 csi corolla if that helps. Thanks in advance I hope someone can shed a bit of light on the subject for me. Zack
  6. Now that's one sexy hatchback. I'm surprised the fuel ecomony is that good considering the output but times are changing. Sweet looking ride, jsut remember te leave the family behind when you first "test" drive it ;) . Anyways hope it hits the shores of AUS soon mate. I'm like probably a lot of people on here quite jealous ;)
  7. *start rant* I put it to you all this way, in a cars lifetime what makes it go, run efficiently and for lack of a better word, good. Four things are required: Fuel, Water, Oil and Air . Take air for example its FREE, take Oil (depending on how anal you are about your engine and requirements) it's priced between $15-$75 (5L) ,unless your racing it, take Water although the sheer lack of it in our country its on the increase and getting cheaper, and OYG FUEL YES FUEL PEOPLE!!! Again relatively cheap over the lifetime of a vehicle, considering accidents and engine's needing work on them then you have panel rust etc... Point is those four things have to be the cheapest things you can put into your car to lengthen its lifetime and increase performance. Not to mention it won't break the budget even if you are earning SFA. *end rant*
  8. Idiot here filled up last night and left the filler cap at the petrol station. I would say its gone or run over by now but will check tonight after work. But working on that it's broken or lost, where and how much would I find and get one for? I own a 92 model Corolla any ideas. I feel stupid enough as it is so not be too harsh on me. Any suggestions on a good wrecker or can I buy one from an autopro??
  9. I ended up staying home with my family and had a couple of beers, I had dinner then, watched a DVD and some random TV till midnight and watched the fireworks and crashed after that.
  10. What happened to you for you to say except me? I hope it wasn't too bad for ya. Shame about the car but it could've been a lot worse.
  11. Hope you all enjoy them....just a small amount to start with I'll have to upload my more recent collection soon.
  12. I've driven a.... bits-r-missin' verada 94 model Corolla 86 hatch (mates) Golf 1.8 Golf 2.0 TDi Mini LS 1275 Leyland mini 1100 Honda Civic 99 model Honda Civic 93 Nissan Pulsar mid 90's model and now I'm driving a 92 model CSi Corolla. As for the fastest car I've driven it'd have to be the TDi Golf
  13. I'm posting this speaker question here in case i get flamed and be told to use the search function of the forum. I have used the search and I cannot find anything regarding the front speaker size and pre-existing hole, in a 1992 rolla (stock stereo). I also searched as to where the best spot would be to fit rear speakers in as well. It's a hatch so i don't exactly want to cut into the board so I was thinking the rear doors is this possible?? I don't have any central locking or power windows. I have my eye on getting two sets of Jaycar 5" response precisions kevlar coaxial 's and attaching them to an old Pioneer deck. But just wanted some advice on whether they'd fit into the pre-existing holes under the dash for the fronts and where to place the rears as mentioned above. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
  14. As BB said above depends on the model rolla, not to mention whether you're going to replace the speakers in the exact same spots as the stock ones from the factory were installed.
  15. Soldering is far from permanent. Heat it up again, and suck it out with a solder-sucker and you're back to square one Arhh yes but you're not going to undo any work you've spent the time to complete unless you're removing the entire audio system for reselling the car. Because it'd be a waste of time and effort. :P
