  1. oil type caltex 20w-50, you will need about 5.5l
  2. If you go to eject cd's there is extra selection where you can select map disc eject and the disc will work if you put it in your other car
  3. there is no special socket you you just need a 19mm on a long swival rachet, but by the sounds of it you shock my be stuffed or the bump stop in the shock is worn out cause that noise.
  4. It could have been the intermidiate shaft cause they some times tend to knock and you can get them replaced under warranty.
  5. The sizzling noise you are getting from your window sounds like the window regulator motor and if you go to your nerest toyota dealer and say that the motor is noisy they will more than likely replace it cause thats what they did for my dads aurion and it is making the same kind of noise you are talking about.
  6. If you take you aurion to toyota they can fix the squeak that is coming from the windsceen cause really its the dash and what toyota does is reinsulate the clips on the dash so it does not cause the squeaking noise and for your window if it is just the bailey rubber you can apply rubber care or graphite powder they both do the trick.
  7. More tahn likely it sounds like the dome fuse it tends to blow if you treat the cig lighter to rough cause the toyota lighters in the corollas are delicate so you have to be gentle when pulling it out or posibly turning it in the lighter.
  8. You would only have to aply the fipg to the corners on the cam caps wat the cam cover sits on
  9. Thats some serious power how would you keep traction
  10. Gday all. I was looking throught the search engine on the forum to try and find if any1 has made a toyota owners club shirt yet or one for a corolla. If yes could you please get back to me cause i am very interested if not, in the next few weeks i will make up a design and run in by you guys and girls to see wat you think, please use this post for any suggestion and i will take it in mind and see wat i can come up with, because at the moment i am just brain storming i have a few ideas. And I have Polo shirt design more in mind, I dont think t-shirt will look that great. Please let me know. Thanks Pricey
  11. I would have to chose manual by far. I must say i have had alot of auto cars and they are alright but they get a bit boring thats why manual would be the best. Thats why when i got my corolla it had to be manual
  12. Gday I no this was brought up in a previous topic, but these new ZRE corollas' some of you guys had a prob with 24 hour clock on the dash. I may have found your answer to the problem. If you still have the original toyota headunit in the car you could display the normal 12hour clock on there. And to do this all you have to do is the combination of either pressing seek up than 4 or 4 than seek up, hold that for a few seconds than the clock should activate on the headunit. And to adjust the time just hold AM and press 1 to change the hour and AM and 2 to change the minutes. During all this the headunit has to be switched off. I hope this maybe helpful to a few of you. 13. There was a set of those conquest rims on ebay sprayed white like last week but i dont think they are on there anymore.
  14. Gday mate Are you doing front or rear wheel bearing and wat type of car. And make sure you have the right eqiupment including a press so you can press the old bearing off. And i think you may need a bit of wheel bearing grease and maybe rubber grease.
  15. I am going to tell you that they dont really look into much at 1,000k cause they just want to get the car in and out and they are only looking over for any bad things that the built plant may have missed that could cause a danger for you. But im sure when you go in for your 10k service and tell them to adjust they will do it this time cause they will have to take of the wheels for the service so they will adjust it for you i hope this info helped you out a bit.
  16. Man most people do 4EFTE but i have seen the odd 20v in the EP91. But my mate had EP91 starlet and did a conversion he through in a 4EFTE and he did all that for like $2000 and it went pretty hard for wat it was and it look like your average EP91 starlet stock as a rock.
  17. That sounds like a really good deal if they are going to do a good solid job for that amount. But black i am going to have to agree that ey they might be a nice car but they a extra car you have to keep extra clean and you can see everylittle mark that you might make on it accidently make on the car.
  18. Thats a great movie to watch at a party during lots of alcohol. lol. You just ***** yourself laughing
  19. I am not so great myself 1. 3rd year appretice machanic at a Toyota dealership. 2. A party animal 3. Living life on the edge. 4. And..ummm...yer thats it. Cheers Pricey
  20. I was going to say i dont no if it is the same on corolla sportivo's but if you take out the glove box and look up there are fuses and relays up there aswell and that is where the dome light is but i dont no if that is the same for corolla sportivo's. Pricey..
  21. This is for a few people out there that might not know. If you were wondering how to set he clock in your toyota echo with your standard toyota cd player. All you have to do is have the sterio turned of and its either the combination to hold seek up than 4 holding them at the same time or the other way around 4 than seek up. And to adjust the time press AM and 1 to adjust hour and AM and 2 to adjust minute. This include most toyota standard cd players. This have been mentioned befor but i thought i might help some people on this forums that might not know. Pricey..
  22. Your echo is alright man its not bad it might have the looks but does it have the power have you got a dyno check yet. but i must admit yours is the best of seen.
