  1. Had the same problem in mine top right of windscreen was rattling all the time , had to replace windscreen in the end was going to get it removed and re sealed but had a stone chip so I had a new screen fitted. Solved the problem, it wasn't sealed correctly from the factory. No more rattles.
  2. Ok so I finally found the time to fix this problem .Spent couple hours on the phone to the wreckers and found a motor for $220 out of an 09 Grande. I was expecting it to be a nightmare to fit but I got it in and operating in about 15 minutes, it took me half an hour to put the trim back on. Very happy with the outcome compared to $2200 from dealer plus fitting.
  3. Thanks for the reply Love the idea of swapping my cog for someone who is still under warranty any volunteers! So I had some time today to make some calls to Toyota ,total price $2127 very very funny. Did get the part number 8500748010 and a quick google search came up with price at US toyota dealer of $928.44 ,have sent an email to see if they will ship to Aust. Coover the cog is made of steel and it looks like I can remove the cog. What are those machines called that can make an exact replica of a part, I have seen them being used on tv. Thanks Will try a few wrecking yards when I get the chance.

  5. The power rear door on my 08 grande has lunched itself. pulled the trim off and the motor is still working but the main cog has broken 2 teeth off Anybody else found a new motor at a reasonable price, to scared to ring toyota. Searched ebay but couldnt find anything Thanks help would be appreciated
  6. Yes Roger I am kinda over it honestly, their attitude stinks. I won't be buying another one in my lifetime nor recommending them either. I'm sure all brands have issues but the scandals surrounding Toyota world wide since I had my spray justify my well formed opinions about them and what they think of their customers (all so they could make a few more percent profits to their bottom line! dogs!) Come on Rice we know you still love your car , I personally have an 07 grande done 38k few small problems that toyota have fixed no problems, but it has never let me down once . Most car builders are the same, toyota are better than most. Mine has been a great car If you think others are any different then you are mistaken.

    Dash Rattle

I have the same rattle centre of the dash plus other rattles and I have done 27k and over twelve months old and the dealer will be fixing it . Also having all 4 door trims replaced next week due to the cracks in the arm rests I have a clunking sound in my steering as well, so they will be fixing that to. Then I will be in to them about my front tyres scrubbing out on the edges. Other than that the car is great
  8. Hi just joined the the club too .Just ordered a black Grande with nudge bar , side rail ,beige leather.About a 3 month wait.Has any one got any pics of there black kluger? How does black go with our hot summer? The aircon works really well. I didn't get black because you can see every bit of dirt on it. I had a black Grande for a test drive for 3 days. It didn't rain and I only drove of sealed roads, but it looked filthy when I took it back. The graphite looks cleaner for longer, even though it's not. Once we order in about a month, we were debating over tidal blue, pearl white, graphite, but even though its alot more maintenance(washing), we have decided the black will look the best(If kept clean). Im going to use the waterless wash and garage it nightly, so hopefully i can get the kids involved in doing some of it too! I agree ,black does look the best when kept clean ! I've also ordered the sand beige leather interior with black mats, dont know how hard beige is to keep clean compared to black leather.Any one out there with the beige leather ! I heard its a bit cooler in summer than having black interior. I have a black with beige leather and it looks great, the beige looks alot classier I think and havent had any problems with cleaning, the beige mats are a bit dirty but a good pressure wash will sort that, 3 kids! The inside of the car is fine for heat in the summer, have had mine since december Looks stunning clean and looks fine when its dirty

    Kluger Price

Dont pay the 2800 absolute waste of money in my opinion $68k is a bit over the odds but not much I personally cant be bothered going to 10 different dealerships shopping around ,they are all unpleasant experieces, money isnt everything.I used a broker It is a fantastic car you will love it The beige interior looks fantastic
  11. It is an auto dimming mirror like our standard one but also has homelink, which replaces remotes for electric gates or roller doors and has a compass ,the one taka has suggested also has a built in radar detector
  12. Yes I read about this one taka I wasnt sure it would detect our radars, do you think it would. If it does I would buy one of them instead.
  13. The first time I have posted a link what a miracle it worked. I am ordering one in the next few days he will post to Aust for $30 postage I have electric gates and its a pain to find the remote Homelink is a standard feature in USA limiteds Next job is to work out programming to make voice recognition work for sat nav , maybe a usa map disc will have the software files on the disc to make it work
  14. We all need one of these mirror
  15. Works fine here but can be a pain, its easier to unlock from a distance if more people in the car, my wife drives me nuts using it instead of from a distance, I am left standing waiting for her to use it
