Am I too late to order one?

Where are you located? Eventually my car will come out of warranty and if there were mechs nearby that know their way about toyotas, that would be brilliant.

I have been comtemplating buying a 350Z for ages, but you can deny the practicality an aurion has. That was the biggest regret when I bought this car, was that perhaps I should have bought something sportier.

My first car was a 93 Pulsar Ti 2.0, bought it off my old man in 2002 for 5k. I loved that car, a week after I completely pimped out the sound systemn it got written off by some drunk turning right and not watching the road. I still miss that car, I used to wash and polish it every week. I feel guilty sometimes because I dont treat my aurion anywhere near as well as I looked after the pulsar

Sorry to bump an old topic, but since I have a bit of extra cash floating around I finally decided to do this. However I am not confident in my ability to install and I also lack anywhere to do it, since my car is parked on the street. Does anyone from Melbourne know a trust worthy place to have this installed?

I see my car as nothing more than an A to B, in fact I havent even washed it since December - if it wasnt for the rain it would look really filthy lol. But I am always surprised and impressed by how smooth it is and how effortlessly it overtakes, it has lots of space and the handling is better than you think.

I use the cruise control to keep within the speed limit on long drives. Car cruises far too smoothly at speeds way above 100km/h, too easy to sit at 120+ without realising it. But I have noticed the same thing as the others, while going down hill the car will engine brake to keep within the set speed.

Yea it is quite easy to turn off by accident, before I got my reverse cam I had turned it off by accident and was backing up towards a mate's new VRX lancer. He was sitting in my car getting quite nervous cause I was getting pretty close, I assured him my sensors will warn me and not to worry. I realised later my sensors were off and I was actually very close to backing into his car lol.

That sucks dude, hope it all gets fixed up properly. But at least you werent in the car at the time.

I had this issue for about a week, and then it went back to normal. I ran the diagnostics and it showed the data it was receiving. It was a week when it was cloudy and I have noticed that it happens alot during those specific weather conditions.

The foglights dont make much of a difference on dark country roads I have noticed, and mine have been upgrade to brighter bulbs. It still is hard to see, especially travelling at the 100kph speed limit most country roads have, only high beams make any difference.

I had a 92 N14 Nissan Pulsar Ti with an SR20DE, great little car, was quite zippy. It was a hand me down from my dad, but it was in bad shape, scratches and dings everywhere. I repaired everything, so it looked like the day it rolled off the showroom floor, even got some SSS rims for it. 2 weeks after I put a new sound system in it, it was written off by a careless driver.

The euro and DC5 tegs both run the K-series engine, and I know suspension was interchangable between the DC5 and the ES civics as they were produced at roughly the same time so I can understand the reasons for the similarities. But the aurion and camry run different engines, so no luck there.

The little hole on the front of the head unit next to the right knob. A paperclip does the trick. Does not guarantee a fix though. Will also result in lost clock and radio settings. Thanks, its worth a shot though.

When you say reset what exactly do you mean by that? Are there software settings or did you disconnect the power from the back and do it that way?

Mine picks everything up from the last song played, USB, DVD, CD, it remembers. However that said, mine plays funny buggers with the steering wheel controls, it mixes them about. Sometimes I press the change song button and the volume goes up, etc. I had toyota look at the steering wheel and they said it was fine, so I dont know which one is at fault.

I reckon wait another year and Holden will release a local version. It was developed in aus, shares the same platform as the VEs so there is already local expertise in the car, and judging by how well they sold in the states, GM is stupid to not offer this in rhd, people will buy simply cause it looks like bumblebee and the rest will buy it cause its an awesome looking car.

I was hoping that being a lambo gearbox it would be rated for more than the power it already makes, makes it easier when you sell stripped out versions of your car with monstrous engines - less r&d in the end :) But that Lambo sounds like sex on wheels lol

Take it straight back to toyota, they can run the diagnostics. If it sounds like the car is unlocking, perhaps the reciever on the alarm is playing up? In my old car the alarm got effected by strong CB radio signals, I would be driving along and suddenly the car would go nuts like it was posessed or something, doors unlocking and re-locking.

I got the toyota plastic one, its great for stuff that can spill and is easy to clean out. I would have prefered a rubber one, my dad has one in his Kluger and its fantastic, no slip and slide.

Uhh the Lancer Ralliart is the little brother of the EVO X, AWD 2ltr turbo engine. I test drove the normal lancer VRX and was impressed by its abilities as well as the features it had (came with the Fosgate sound system, 9 speakers + sub). But the smoothness and the power of the aurion sold me.

I would like to come but i will be unable to drive that weekend, so if someone is willing to give me a lift, great otherwise next time.
