    Rotten egg smell??

Yep my kluger also gives off that f@#kng smell even if the car is sealed(all windows closed and vent in recycle mode). I keep on telling toyota service about it everytime i get the car serviced and they keep on telling me that everything is ok (their computer not indicating anything wrong). They said that they have resetted the computer for me. This did nothing still getting that smell and it seems to be getting worst and i think the airconditiong is being affected as well, because when i turn the airconditioning on there's a bad smell coming from it as well. I rang toyota customer care about it and they said to put a higher octane petrol. I said to them why do i have to fork out extra dollars if the minimum requirement of kluger is the normal 91octane petrol. The lady i was talking to said, thats the only suggestion she can give me and could not comment anymore. Anyone having the same issue can ring up toyota customer care so that they can be made aware or the problem and not just take it for granted we paid a lot of money for the car, they should be doing something about the it. phone. 1800 252 097 (Mon to Fri 8am - 6pm AEST).

    Fog Light install

Hi Jer, sure, here it is; - Toyota fog light bezels; $65 each ($130 the pair) (perhaps ring a few dealers, the prices vary) - 2007 OEM Camry Fog Lights; $87.99 inc shipping - http://stores.ebay.com.au/Breakparts (there are other sellers, the fogs for the 4 door Yaris will also fit) - Toyota Switch Assembly (indicator stick that includes the fog light dial) - $216 (same again, ring around as prices vary) The camry fogs come with all the needed wiring, switches, relays etc, if you wanted to run it through yourself. I chose to use the factory wiring thats already in the vehicle. Thanks for all the info scott...you're a champ

    Boot Liner

If your referring to the kluger rubber cargo mat, which I believe is the best option I fitted for a mere $85. Yes, you just curl it back enage the third row and flip it back over when the third row is recessed again. Really no pain and a 3 second job at that. $85 very cheap!!! usually it's more than $120...you got a good bargain...
  12. I agree pretty hard to get in the back while holding the baby...second row seats has 3 anchors to fit 3 baby seats anyway...

    Headlights/HID

If you want to try globes try Philips Bluevision(4000k yellowish colour beam $60) or if you want whiter beam try Philips silvervision or crystal vision but their around $100 from autobarn. Im not sure if the HID is any good as i've never seen one before but you can get cheap HID kit on ebay for around $85.

    Traction Control

It is a drive by wire throttle. After everything I've read about the Kluger traction/stability control and what I've seen with the cruise control, I'm starting to think that Toyota's solution to criticism that their previous sowftware was too obtrusive was to just introduce a delay to when it operates. Traction control in a front driver is always going to be a hit and miss situation. As you accelerate in it, the weight is transfered to the rear and therefore it is easier to get wheelspin. When towing, the front will always lift a little, therefore even less weight through the driving wheels. The same system in a commodore works far better. I have a barine SRI(FWD) and the same thing happens, if i push it hard, it will start protesting lots! Remember, the kluger has over 200 killer wasps going through the wheels. I will be going for the AWD. So is it worth the $4500 and go for the AWD?I was told if you not really using the car for off road its not worth spending the extra $4500 for AWD.I've ordered a FWD grande(arriving July) , thinking of changing to AWD.What do you all think.? I reckon go for AWD...if you dont want wheel spins,,,

    Genuine Side Steps

Hi Guys i'm thinking of getting the genuine sidesteps for my kluger the lowest price i've been quoted is $880. Just wondering if this is a reasonable price? Can anyone recommend a dealer in Sydney that might be able to offer a better price? thanks
