  1. Hi I also have Vaistech SoundLinq2 installed in CD-MP3 Changer emulation (which is apparently the only emulation possible for Kluger and I am happy with it except for the "Folder List" button which is also disabled. However page 11 of the Owner's Manual (at the bottom of the page) says quote Please note all Toyota vehicles except for Prius, do not have a list of files or folders display available on the screen due to Radio limitations Unquote. Regards to all
  2. The Altitude specification broshure under Sound System lists, quote "AM/FM radio with single in–dash CD player withMP3 compatibility, Audio Input compatible with iPod®^ or other portable MP3 players" unquote. Would it be too difficult to have this feature installed by the dealer in Kluger 2008 (Non Altitude model)?

    I got one!

Hey! Easy Taka! :) May I say welcome to the Sage Green club - its a very distinguished and elite club. You did well to get both the 7 seats and AWD for that price I think. And yeah, if you're planning to keep it for a while, the resale wont be an issue. Ours is a 2007 build too. Welcome and congratulations. Sage Green is very special colour and as Scott_C pointed out, you are now memeber of a very special Sage Green Club. Our car is also 2007 build, we plan to keep it for a while hence resale value should not ne an issue particularly if you look after the car. Once again, congratulations Green is a colour you either love or hate ;) and it really would have been the colour I picked if I had a choice. I love the fact that its not the most selected colour. Have driven a white commodore wagon for 8 years and it seems so does a large majority of the population. There are 3 cars the same in my street alone! looking forward to getting something a little "different". Thanks for the welcome :P
  4. Any feedback from Toyota?
  5. Scott, I thought so, nice choice (my Kluger is the same colour, there are not many around in Saige Once again congratulations on your purcghase and enjoy
  6. Congratulations Scot_C, this is a very beautiful vehicle. The colout look svery nice, what is it?
  7. Thank you Scot_C but how do I get around this: "Note: At this time we can only accept accounts from subscribers with US mailing and billing addresses"? This may help.....http://www.priceusa.com.au/ Thank you Scot_C
  8. That's where they were - both front and back... B) Thank you all for your input which helped a lot. I have referred Toyota to this forum and this is what I received yesterday quote ....there should be in fact manual available...unquote. Now I am to contact the dealership. Will let you know when I have the manual 'on board'
  9. Scott_C thank you for your information. I think I will be tempted to do likewise (my brother lives in Seattle)
  10. Attached are a couple of relevent pages from the manual. Hi Mikeboy, Toyota insists there is no such manual available to public (I take it they mean owners). Would you be good enough to post the title page only ("Front Corner Parking Assistance System Owner's Manual") which I could onpass to Toyota emphasising the words "owners manual" and not a service manual. It would help my cause a bit (I simply want a full set of manuals for my new car). I fail to understand why is Toyota so uncooperative if there is such a manual and reading the posts here, it seems obvious it is available Regards
  11. WTF??? I don't understand their logic... please explain
  12. Alex, it was only a matter of time before I registered here I guess. It's an annoying error margin, hope enough provide feedback to toyota during services. To enable an acceptable 3 to 4 k margin fix down the track. Garry Similar problem here and same response from the dealer. I have two GPS's one of which I use for professional navigation against which I tested the speedo. Dealer dismissed GPS as not being accurate because .... there is too long delay between the GPS and satelite .... honest
  13. Thank you Scot_C but how do I get around this: "Note: At this time we can only accept accounts from subscribers with US mailing and billing addresses"?
  14. Is there a Toyota or after market sevice manual avaialable for Kluger 2008? It is not that I want to do any work on the car, its just a quirk of mine always wanting to know a little more about the car than what the standard owners manual provides, for example I would like to know where is the oil filter located and a few other bits and pieces
