Hi, I had a friend of a friend mechanic that serviced my car. I need the front Shock Absorbers replaced on my 2008 Toyota Kluger GSU45R KX-S AWD. I intend to buy them on ebay from one of the major spare part dealers. Monroe or KYB are supposed to be good. Any other brands that are good? Another question, is it better to replace the read absorbers at the same time? How long would it take a qualified mechanic to change them?

Hi, I had the bumper bar on my Kluger repainted. The bumper bar now has a gap on one side where the head lights are. Any suggestions what might be causing it?

Hi, I have a kluger 2008 kx-s . I bought an aftermarket headunit (gps, am/fm radio, dvd). AM radio worked fine on my factory installed dvd/radio player. But in the aftermarket headunit, only fm works but no am. I have plugged in the correct radio cable into the headunit but still no am. Wife is not very happy....

I installed an aftermarket nav/gps/reverse camera head unit. Bought it on ebay, did not realise that the factory reverse camera cable connection is not compatible with the head unit. My question is, do I have to replace the camera with an after market camera or is it enough use the old camera but change the cables ? The magnet was very strong, I attached it to metal part of the small screen, all hidden under the plastic cover.

Hi, I bought an aftermarket entertainment/gps/rev camera head unit for my 2008 Toyota Kluger KX-S . The unit comes with an external gps antenna. Where is the best spot to place the gps unit? I don't mind some delay when it comes to the speed of the GPS receiver to acquire satellite signals and navigation data. I appreciate all advice. Thanks

My apologies mate, it was pooring down with rain last night in Perth when I wrote this. We had 54mm of rain between 6pm and 10 pm. I did not want to go out and get drenched (to check my tyres). I am after the original size that the car came with. Comfort is the best option for our needs.

Hi, I bought a cargomat from a Toyota dealer which was included in the total purchase price for my Kluger. It is still under new car warranty. I have attached an image of the cargo mat which has a tear in it. Toyota says that the warranty does not apply in this case. They (Toyota) say that they are not convinced that this is a manufacturing fault of the mat but are in fact saying that this sort of thing can happen if an item has been dragged off the mat and the eyelet has had too much stress and split. I have not used the mat to transport heavy things. Comments and suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi, a silly question ;--) I have a flat tyre and RAC is changing it at the moment. Is the Kluger KX-S spare tyre a 'complete' tyre or is it a 'take you to the nearest workshop' tyre (space saving tyre)?

Same here. Kluger KX-S AWD 2008 model. No noise at all when travelling more than 220 km/hour! Is that normal? :D

I am finally in the possession of my AWD Kluger kx-s 2008 model. It is a great car. Smooth to drive. I decided to buy the parking and clearance sensors. It is a big car and they come in handy every day. I am very happy with the guys at Kalamunda Toyota. The sales person that sold me the car was even helpful after I signed on the dotted line
