  1. get a quote from a dealer bro... too risky imo
  2. why didnt you buy just a celica or a sportivo? as it sounds like u have no clue how to mod corollas or where to start? ;)
  3. i disagree ....... & yes i do understand that u r entitled to ur opinion but it does need to be based on facts ...... simply put if u have crappy handling bcuz u have increased the power of ur car its bcuz u havent thought about the right handling solution for the setup ...... ive seen plenty of awd & rwd cars that couldnt hand for s**t bcuz they were powered up dramatically and no thought was put into the fact that the cars might need to take a corner ...... u just have to find the setup that works with ur power output ...... ive seen many high powered fwd's that are able to handle quiet well ........ im waiting till the day when Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, even Nissan release a front wheel super car... :) PS I think you have a rolla thats turboed? How has your engine coped with the extra power etc?
  4. You're obviously a "glass is half empty" kinda guy We all know what the ZRE is all about but i dont see a problem in giving it quality sound. Beats going to Aldi and buying a $10 cannon Hmm... not really, I sold my turbo Skyline cos I wanted a cheaper, slowish daily. I am not convinced that a Corolla is a great car for fast mods. There are much better equipped Toyotas available (Supras, Celicas, Mr2s, Chasers, Soarers etc) that will respond better to mods, especially if they are turbo. I know many of you like to make a slow bubble rolla go quicker but I much prefer doing visual mods on such type of a car. Then again thats my opinion. Thats fair enough, unfortunately for us Toyota stopped good performing and good looking cars a long time ago...Like i said i know what its built for and suits me fine, but yes it has to look and sound the goods... Fast? NO, quick? can be, kind of ;) Very true... I hear Toyota are about to launch a bunch of sporty cars with turbos and good looks. I wonder how much they will cost though, probably over 50 K. On a sidenote, if Aurion was rear wheel drive then that car would be awesome indeed. Power and front wheel drive = ****ty handling.

  6. 5 KW for all the fuss... whats the point <_<
  7. Black cars just look dirtier than most... they are a bitch to keep clean as well. I like white or silver rollas :) --- http://www.attractwomen.com.au
  8. Cruise control is still available regardless of the transmission. I see. Bummer. So looks like there has not been a single Aussie corolla fitted with a CC as stated in the UK thread?
  9. So maybe look to see if you have the connector firstly. I will check if I have the connector available first. I also have a automatic car... maybe cruise control is not available for manual ZRE Corollas?
  10. So can I use this for my corolla? Just buy the spare parts from Toyota and fit it myself?
  11. http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86751 The guys in the UK say it works...
  12. Use a syringe. ----- http://www.attractwomen.com.au
  13. More likely to cost over 50 K... when will Toyota finally release sporty lil cars that can rival Ford Focus Turbo... and cost in mid to high 20s. ffs.
  14. Im using Mobil1 5w-30... changing it every 5-7 K...
  15. hey guys, Bought a TOMTOM GPS, wonna know where to best mount it in a ZRE Corolla... I was thinking about the middle section under the front window....but it wont fit due to the wire. Maybe on the dash to the right of the steering wheel? Any photos would be great!
  16. Thats pretty silly. Im all for silly ads, but that was like saying 'FUUUUCK YOU' and trying to be sarcastic.
  17. Yeah... maybe this explains why Toyota have this as an option on a Camry and Aurion.... two cars both aimed for a target market older than that I personally don't think it is ricey and childish if done right. That is if you get blue, keep it dim and just as a gentle highlight. Otherwise get white. I recon white footwell lighting is clean and nowhere near ricey. Lexus IS has white foot pedal lighting, looks all right.
  18. lol dont get me wrong they do look nice, i had neon bars in my bros station wagon when i was on my Ps :) I think its the hypa blue colour that makes it bit ricey (blue is my fave colour) but I think its bit an overkill, amber or reddish may look better, more "hidden" so to speak.

  20. You should be the special effects guy in the next Fast n Furious... ;)
  21. What is the best fully synth oil that you can get for an automatic Toyota tranny? I know that for Nissan it was Castrol Transmax Z, stuff was really pricey for 4 litres ($60-70).
