  1. No other GPS manufacture seems to care about showing “Speed & Traffic Camera”, I don’t see would Toyota would? Especially if Whereis is allowed to include it in its data? I wouldn’t mind getting a hold of version 15 also. Like Taka, I am willing to do the copying also. Cheers.
  2. Australia V15.0 will be released soon. Tomtom already has it for sale plus a few other portable units. http://poweredby.whereis.com//shop/Whereis-Online-Store.html has a place mark for it's release. How long do these things take for a Toyota Version to come along?
  3. I replied with....... Good Afternoon Elizabeth, Thank you for your reply. No problems and I understand this happens with shared manuals. But it might be worth removing it from the Australian brochure. Regards,
  4. 3 April 2008 - Opps should have done this a while ago.. sorry.... Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email received by our Customer Relations Centre andwe apologise for the delay in responding to your inquiry.. Unfortunately the Compass feature listed in the owners manuals is not applicable to Australian Models. Our manuals are used for world wide publication and feature Kluger models across the board. Regards, Customer Relations Advisor Customer Relations Centre Toyota Motor Corporation Australia Limited
  5. Yeah the park lights / fog lamps come on first then as it gets darker the full lights come on. I'm happy to have the park/fogs come on first, but even at dusk they don't come on (sometimes). If 3 is default I think I might try 2. It will be more of an issue coming into winter, if the weather is crap (rain etc..) coming into dusk would make me feel a little safer. Cheers.
  6. That's what I'm talking about rzkman. They need to come on sooner like at dusk but delayed so they don't flick on under every bridge.
  7. So I could have it to say, wait 3 seconds before the lights come on. But also come on when the ambient light is a little lighter then when they would come on, not that it’s a real issue, but the delay is a must. Being able to adjust without going to the dealer would be great. Unless they need to plug into the car I wonder if there is a trick we could do ourselves.
  8. Would be great if it was TMC ready.... There are a few units already in Australia that do TMC from Tomtom, Garmin, Mio etc.... Some are built in like Garmin, others need an antenna. The Grande unit is already a radio so it wouldn't be hard to do TMC.... ... but we may be a little early 1 to 2 years before it's more common.
  9. Yeah great point Taka. Was thinking the other day about this.... The thing with the auto lights is. I wish it would come on a bit earlier then it does as in if it wasn’t auto I would have put my lights on myself as it’s getting a little dark. But then I don’t like it coming on under every bridge every time. But I think to get it stop coming on under the bridge they will need to drop the sensitivity down, but then it would need to be darker for them to come on in the first place which I think is to late anyway. If you’re not confused now, I am. Hehe Sorry.
  10. It’s not so bad for us who know our speedo is out and we can compensate for that. Not that I’m saying it’s ok to be this far out. But how about the people who don’t know their speedo is out and keep having people tailgating them because they believe they are doing the right speed but really the guy behind is doing the right speed. When I took the Kluger to Sydney I had heaps of cars / trucks up my **** and I was thinking what ****holes. Then I worked out the speedo was out and when I compensated I had no more problems. My friend just purchased a Outback and his speedo at 110kms is really 99kms. Now that would ***** me off.

Yes and You have now reached you destination (when I arrive). Which GPS system do you have bodin? The Grande one or the upgrade accessory? It's a very strange problem your having.
  12. Never checked at low k's but at 110km/h I'm only doing 104km/h.

Hi bodin. So no "Turn left in 100 meters" "Take 3rd exit" etc..... What does the screen look like? Is there a heavy blue line on the screen that you are following? Does a diagram pop up on the right hand side now and then as you approach major turns or freeway exits?
  14. I thought I would call back and go the "I just purchased the car from you can you look after me at all on the price" and I got the new price of $455.40 + $200 install. This dealer is a joke, or they really hate me ;) Might call around. Can anyone make a recommendation for a dealer western suburbs side on Melbourne?
