  3. whoa, long cruise, i think alot of people not only need to know how much kms, more importantly, do you think you can figure out a time estimate? say from meet point to destination? how long breaks/lunch? people from other side of town might need to work out themselves time from home to meet point, i am really interested but i need to know. thanks!

    racists

you know what i woulda done (also in the circumstances of stupid driving/parking), i would memorize the number plate of the vehicle, go home and tell about four - five people and call up EPA (friends calling seprately each of course) and say... "OMG, this car just threw a maccas bag out the window and its hit my front windscreen, I've got food scraps all over my front windows and i nearly crashed! something should be done about this kind of behaviour!" "Did you happen to see the registration sir?" "Yes indeed, it was [ENTER HERE]" LOL, of course the same maccas bag can't work on all 5 different vehicles, other stuff works like maccas drinks, beer bottles, ciggarette butts etc. but yeh.. major admiration points to you buddy for keeping your kool, i woulda lost my temper the moment they tried to block my view with their fones lol
  5. the catalytic converter is supposed to burn away a high percentage of polutants, bad gases, and unburnt fuel that comes from your cylinders before exiting into the atmosphere. the reason as to why your car is running lean is because nothing is burning the pollutants away so the O2 sensors reads it as... car running rich, i better cut down on the fuel squirting out of my injectors. you may get a better exhaust flow but causes your car to run lean. running too lean can cause excessive heat in your cylinders and actually burn away at the corners of your piston tops, gradually burning your piston rings and hey presto, new motor due. can also cause pistons to seize up. fuel that squirts into the cylinders believe it or not, actually plays a part in cooling. don't ask how lean is lean for it to happen, but believe me, it happens.
  6. saw a red pre-facelift sportivo at a petrol station, standard looking, BUT it has a transformers sticker on the doors (auto-bots to be precise). TRANSFORMERS! robots in disguise...
  7. As there are small metal brackets glued to your teeth. If you bite down on something firm like an apple that is going to push up past your teeth, it is likely to break the brackets off. You could cut the apple into pieces and chew it with your back teeth though. can you get aftermarket reinforcements like strut braces for them? LOL
  8. OH MY ***.... ITS AERIAL IS GONE!!! looks smooth without the aerial sticking up from the roof, i want mine off too. oh by the way i don't like that kit, front bar over the top, plus the grill looks cheap. and even if you had a front mount showing in there i still wouldnt like the kit. factory stivo kit FTW! you might become a favourite of the cops with that GT wing though
  9. i advise not to adjust your clutch pedals guys, its always preset from factory. the freeplay that matters is that 1.0mm at the pedal stop. which if you (by hand) wiggle your clutch pedal gently you feel that freeplay. the freeplay for the clutch resistance is due to your clutch (type-standard,heavy duty, or how worn) hydraulic systems dont need adjusting, only the old cars with clutch cables.if you find your friction point way out, could be worn clutch or aftermarket clutch. if you adjust up your pedal improperly you can cause premature wear on clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, thrust bearing, and even cause your clutch to burn if bad enough.
  10. dude that sucks, i hate people who have nothing to do and end going around vandalising peoples pride n joy. i'm up for the meet, not sure about the cruise though, hopefully my springs will be in, and the skys dont rain after i wash my car LOL
  11. i think i saw a sticker kit once in autobarn, with all the brands together in a column so one big decal = 5-6 well known brands LOL, reminds me yesterday i saw a RAV4 cruiser, underneath the RAV4 badge had a turbo badge. is that rice? well it gets better, above both these badges, he has a large porshe bagde... seems he couldnt afford the porshe cayenne turbo, just have to make do then i suppose LOL
  12. yeh, i was driving slow coz i couldnt really see, road was shimmering like a lake, by the time i realised it was a puddle, step on brakes, stop, put into reverse gear, at that point my motor was sputtering and stalled, ineteresting fact: 2zzge is still strong enough to run on 2 cylinders with snapped conrods hitting the cylinder wall LOL
  13. yeh but it honestly wasn't my fault lol, damn freak storm last december in melbourne. to all the melbournians who drove that day with wipers on maximum... i'm pretty sure that day still wakes you up in the middle of the night all sweaty... i still have nightmares about it :(
  14. I'm glad you were happy with the buy mate, at first i couldn't really pictured gunmetal grey on blue, i kinda thought it suited white more, BUT seeing the pics it looks sexy. suits your car better than mine! another happy person! :D P.S. i recieved quite a few more PM's regarding the rims... quite a few
