  1. When you roll guards, do you have to remove the inner black plastic inside the guard. And if you do, how much road grime spits up into your engine bay. I would love to have a Aurion dropped on its ****. But would hate to comprimise engine and stuff.
  2. I agree with that...........................But unfortunately it follows on though: The touring = Poor mans Presara And my beast the ATX = Poor mans touring Maaaaannn now i feel real poor, I hate being at the bottom of the food chain ha ha lol Might have to ask my boss for a raise lol
  3. Your ride is sitting really well dude. How much more lower are you going to go. How low can you go with them. If you go really low will they bottom out, and if you go really low do you have to remove the inside plastic on the guards. Anyways, looking sweet as.
  4. Ive been mucking around with a new boot badge this weekend, guttered the old one, added a new emblem etc etc. But now I need to stick it on. What sort of glue do you guys recommend. Im after something like what they stick the factory badges on with, that stuff is pretty sticky. Im gonna add a sweet scull into the front grill and go for a bit of a "punisher" theme on my car. Pics below, only stuck on with blue- tac for effects.
  5. "Drink more beer, forget about the last one, get yourself another" Go the kiwi's. Damn it!!!!!!!! Oh well. Thanks for the info boys. I thought it would be to good to be true. Otherwise i supose every one would be doing it. Maybey ill just have to wait till I win the lotto.
  6. Naaaaa, sorry brother, Thats one of the reasons i chose the car ive got, not a big fan of raised spoilers. No offence, personal opinion. Don't mind the little lip/duck tails though. Im going for the more of a sleek look. Cheers, anyways.
  7. Just come back from NZ, and i tell you what - their cars over there are cheap as chips . I was looking at BMW Z4's, Nissan 350Z,and Jag's. There secondhand cars are about $20,000 cheaper than australia, and with low KM's (around 30,000km). I went to a car yard that had nothing over $10,000 and the yard was full of subaru's, Bmw's, Altezza's, Sylines, all jap imports. Not new ones but only about 5-10 year old. There young fellas get their licences at age 15, and they are all cruizin around in subaru,s and beemas. Its crazy. The Nissan 350Z's around (20-30K) and Z4's around (low 30k). Does anybody know how much mucking around i would have to do to get one into australia, taxes, australian complying. I know we have stronger import rules, but how hard is complying these vehicles. Because i remember seeing a 350Z on carsales pretty cheap, the guy only used it for the track racing as it was a import and he said it couldnt be registered in Australia. But I think he might have got it straight from Japan. Oh yeah the secondhand Aurions and Ford's are pretty expensive over there and hold there value pretty good, only seen 1 aurion when i was over there. The people i spoke to, havent even heard of the aurions. It wasnt till i was in a shopping centre and there was a white sportivo was sitting there, my ol man was like whaaaa " what sort of car is that" I thought that was heaps funny. Meanwhile im droooling over evey second done up bemmma and Lexus cruizing past. Anyways, anyone know anything about imports.
  8. Maaan that colour is crazy hot. It reminds me of a movie i used to watch as a young fella, I think it was called "COBRA", the one with Sly Stallone with that crazy silver car. (Some of you ol fellas will know the movie) Looks good without the spoiler, more sleek looking.
  9. EDIT: SORRY DUDE DIDNT READ THE NARRATIVE AT THE TOP. Good choice you didnt got with the 35's, imo the 35's when i had them just looked a little to big for the rim. With that drop they look just right. How are ya finding your suspension. Im hearing ya on the noisey nankangs, they are ***** on the hwy's. There was another brand that are load rated for 30's but they are heaps expensive. (Cant remeber the name, but i remember they were nearly as much as the rims.
  10. Looks sweet dude, Sorry dude i didnt reply to your sms, i just got back from NZ last night. We have been using my misses phone. Hey what size tyres did ya go. And where did ya get ya rim package from. Looking good brav.
  11. Unfortunately not. One of the boys did the measurement up with the American camry and the Aurion and the length isnt the same, so the kit would have to be modded. Bit of a shame as there are some cool kits out there for the American camrys.
  12. **************DONT GET THE ONES OFF EBAY******************* I got a dash mat off ebay and it was soooooo thin and sh*t. The air bag space in the dash was a seperate piece and just didnt fit right. But i purchased another one through a place like autobarn, and it is brilliant. It is thick, matches the colour exactly ( so it doesnt stand out) and fits exactly, and it only cost me about 40 bucks. You dont even really notice it. Most times i buy stuff of ebay, but unfortunately this time was a bad choice.
  13. There was a white sportivo being dismantled in a sydney wreckers. Spoke to the guy a few months back when i was originally chasing fog lights. Alot of the panels was gone but the interior was still there, he would have the cup holders for sure. I been trying to find him again, to nab the inside tacho, but ive lost the n.o. I found him in the trading post originally. So there is a wreckers in sydney with a aurion, the problem is trying to find it. Bit hard if he isnt advertising anymore, like a needle in a hay sack. Maybey try that australian wreckers on line, where they search though aussie wreckers for the part your looking for. If you find him let us know. Good luck.
  14. I know a few years ago there was a place on the gold coast who did air bags, for around 2500 bucks. Dont know if they are still there though.
  15. Cheers Azza, that would be choice.
  16. Bondie I just got quoted US$880 seashipment included in the price at to today's currency it works out to be around $1375 Australian unpainted. + anything over 1000 dollars attarcts GST Cheers Azza Are you sure its US dollar he quoted you. Because i got quoted the above prices, which totals a max of 1000 singaporian dollars. 800 for kit and 200 shipping, both prices singaporian. Which is fairly close to the aussie dollar. And my last email, which was about 4 weeks ago it was still same price. He also has to have the kit in stock or it can take up to 4 weeks to get to you. With this GST your talking about, who charges that. Ive never brought anything over 1000 dollars from overseas. How does the gst work. This is copy of the email; Dear Sir, Camry VS kits US$880.00 ( include sea freight to destination port ,excluding tax) Kits consists of : front and rear lips ,side skirts and rear spoiler standard export packaging, lead time (1-2 weeks) Carmy kits = Aurion ( different in exhaust vent ,single vs double) Thanks Sales @ JSPEC Karen the tax gets charged by customs which you must pay for before they release the product. Azza I dont know who karen is but ive been dealing with a guy called paul ho. Ill find out more and get back to ya. But my quotes are in singaporan. they used Paul Ho email maybe the trick is not to tell them your in Australia cause Asian countries like to charge in $USD everytime iI import stuff to the country Azza I just got a email back from them today, that quote is in singaporian dollars. He confirmed the price is for delivery to brisbane port australia. But not to front door step. Im getting another quote to door step, as i havent got the time to go to brisbane port to pick up. And its definately the same coy as the site, as the payment is to a jspec paypal address. There is always a problem with picking it up at a port, if you dont pick it up on the day it arrives, you will get extra fees for it sitting on the dock. And if it is a slack forwarding delivery coy (shipping coy), and you dont get the correct details or sail plans, it can be costly. (shipping = no tracking n.o) But this coy also offers flight freight im pretty sure, so i might just go that option, i think its only a extra 200 bucks, which would be a total of 1200 bucks total. And atleast I wont get charged for a container sititing on a dock, it I cant pick up on time. Maybey you have been dealing with the quote, sales section. Ill still awaiting quote to door step.

  19. Sorry mate he didnt, i was talking to him about the dimensions of all his varex, and told me if it doesnt work out, give them a ring and they can customise something varex for me. I couldnt imagine it being that much more. As they have ****loads of other non varex exhausts there that they could customise easily.
  20. Yeah they have two catalogues, the new catalogue is pretty cool, new curves. But these kits aint what i looking for, as they would make a atx look like a sportivo. And why bother when you could just upgrade your car to a sportivo. The also sell the parts invidually if you want. I have the guys name on my work email address, but dont go back to work till the 2 feb, I got the quote about 8 months ago, i think the quote was around 2k painted and delivered, for the full kit. If you want the contact details pm me after the 2nd. But im only there till the 14th as im off to nevada los-vages for work.
  21. Yeah ive been talking business with him, he is keen to do business with australia. He invited me to visit his show room, but im not going to singapore for work till next december. Ive sorted eveything, price, paypal account to pay to, delivery etc. Send payment through to them next week and should have lipkit from them in about 3 weeks. Wanted to get it earlier, but the mail system has been really slow over christmas and i was too afraid it was going to rock up when i was away on holidays. PM me after the 29th and ill give you his name and email address to speak to him.
  22. I got my fog ligts, that came with black bezel foglight chrome piece around the light and all the wiring and interior swich for 100 bucks. There is a guy that sells them in sydney, gets them from Asia im pretty sure. No modification needed, goes straight on to my atx, now looks exactly like the presara ones. His name is nick wang, he tried to sell them on here once but he got banned. You can find him on ebay sometimes, he really good, real nice guy. He can also get orginal asian camry "aurion" parts from overseas. Can also get bodykits, but they are the ones that we already know about, the lipkits and wald kits. For anyone who is interested. I spoke to varex, and they can make custom made varex exhausts. The guys from varex exhause basically told me any size i want. But after all my mucking around, i just couldnt be bothered now. The aurion creates more of a drone than a roar. Not the sound im looking more. But if anyone is interested, just give them a call.
  23. Send a email to him and he will reply. These are the guys im getting my bodykit off in feburary.
  24. Yeah thanks dude, if this guy fall through, then i will definately take up your offer. Cheers mate.
  25. how much is the kit not inc shipping? The kit is 800 singaporan dollars and the freight is 200 singaporian dollars. It roughly works out the same as Aussie dollars. Give or take some.
