  1. I agree the stuff is great, specialized32z leather is so much softer n looks a million bucks
  2. I lowered my car and installed my rear sway at the same time. It handled so much better. Then I added the the front strut brace and that made it handle like a new car. Every part compliments, so prob get em all. I'm still waiting to install my front sway bar, but its a big job, since you have to remove crossmembers and engine mounts.
  3. Do it yourself. Its easy. I can walk you through it.
  4. I bought a sony 12 inch box from Autobarn for 30 bux in perfect nick. At that price its not worth making one yourself. I just cut the hole to fit a square kicker.
  5. I was thinking about installing one of these scanners, plus toyota wont know i have 1 since there is no wiring modifications, plus its sort of cool how it gives out a digital reading of all your car stats.
  6. goodboys -- u got a rear sway bar? do u also have an exhaust? sometimes they may clang when taking a corner hard .. happens on my mates evo4 yeah i got the rear sway.. just put back my stock exhaust .. the rattle sounds like its behind the dash.. i thought it was my modified cables.. toyota said it was my sway bar/strut bar.. u reckon its bc i havent got the spacers? rattles when im cruising on 3,000rpm.. very noticable when stereo is off. Is the front strut bar touching anything ? Throttle cable maybe? The rear sway bar will 'clang' if it's not tightened enough ( Remember it's metal on metal so any bit of movement and it will make noise ) The two rear sway bar bolts need to be tightened with alot of torque. The best thing to do is have toyota remove the bolts and then put them back on with a rattle gun. i think toyota is just making excuses, since they have something else to blame now
  7. goodboys, yep they r in, just pm specialized32

    HID kit

Good to hear you liked them em. The 6000K kit does look awsome, I drove with my factory lights last night and felt so pov. I forgot how much superior it feels with the HID kit. Im gonna drop down to the 4300K kit, so i get a little less attention.
  9. I just bought some Juiced black seat cover fromm kmart. cost only $17 for 2 (15% off). They fit snug and look good in the stivo.
  10. No dont bend it. If u have look its connect by a bracket at the strut. The pipe connection has rubber gromet (I think thats what it is) in between about 2cm long. Take the gromet off and connect it directly to the bracket. I couldnt find any bolts so I just ran the gromet underneath and used the same nuts. You will have 1mm of clearance between the strut brace and the aliminium pipe, so just put some electrical tape around the end of the pipe incase it rubs. I also put the accelerator over the strut brace so it sits naturally.
  11. I can see why mate, 2 front strut braces definitly increases torsional rigidity :P :D er, just the one now :)
  12. I finaly got the spacers to fit my Whiteline front strut brace. All I can say is it handles fn awsome now. The front strut brace makes a huge diference in cornering. Go Whiteline!!
  13. no drilling needed, you just need to be able to close the rear headlight cover. Just use a stavley knife n make two notches in the edge of the rear of headlight where the cover sits to fit the wire, then put the cover back on. If u lived in melb id do it for free. But just to warn you the 6000k kit is a bit bright, sorta scared the cops will pull me over. I'm thinking about drpping down to 4300K. But yeah if any1 is interest in a 6000K kit PM me.
  14. Its easy man, just plug everythung where it fits n Cable tie the ballasts to something. You cant get it wrong. The hard part is adjusting them the headlights. There are two adjustments on each light, one for left/right the other for up/down. Dont touch the left/right which is the one near the quarter panel. The one near the grill is the up/down, adjust that down till your satisfied that u dont blind people.
  15. I agree, whiteline gear is excellent.
  16. they look good man Im pretty sure they are CSA motiv8ator 18x7.0. They are a very tough Australian made wheel. I was looking at getting a set, till i picked one up. They are a very heavy wheel, but well made for Australian roads.
  17. Are you sure that will work with the 05, cuz i noticed you had a 91 rolla.
  18. Hey just wondering if any1 has a short cut to removing the front sway bar on a 05 sportivo without removing the the crossmember and power steering gear assembly.
  19. Jake has em on his micra. He changed his old momo wheels, for them. i imagine they would be lighter than stock, so ud probly get better peformance.
  20. any chance they can send the spacers to my house? or ill have to travel 1 and half hours to grab dem off spec32.. lol Silva spoke to whiteline and they will send it on the next couple of days to Spec32s address. I work in richmond so if any1 want to pick them up from me during business hours thats fine.
  21. Nope, Richmond near my work. We didnt torque Specialized32s front strut but the settings are 32Nm from memory. The rear sway we torqued to 195Nm. We used my mammoth 1/2 inch ratchet set to get the sear sway undone, and it was still an effort. The front strut requires a lot of work and a hoist I imagine to get it out, so i'm just gonna pay some1 to get it over and done with. I cant wait for silva to send me the spacers so I can test out my front strut brace. Plus whiteline control springs are a perfect ride height. I recomend them with a capital R So we are going to recieve spacers for the strut bar? I PMd silva yesterday to send 3 sets down (18 spacers) and he said he will ring whiteline today. I tried to find similar automotive spacers, with no luck, and i'm not going to temp to pile up a bunch of washers. I guess we will have to wait till he sends them down.
