  1. With nothing, I left the cracked one which I fix with Silastic and you could hardly tell. The new one was never installed. cheers
  2. Gday: I got few parts for sale on eBay, check them out: Camber Bolts: http://www.ebay.com....9#ht_500wt_1121 Front Grill: http://www.ebay.com....9#ht_500wt_1121 Rear Spoiler Brake Light: http://www.ebay.com....9#ht_500wt_1365 I also have a full set of Pedders springs I removed from the car before I sold it, lowering around 40-45mm selling $100 plus shipping if interested. I attached a photo of the car for your reference about the look. Please email me on mini.argie@gmail.com if interested. Cheers Argie
  3. Mate, as you said, that is bloody dangerous!! i use that stuff on my motorbikes to clean up engines, etc but as you said, CAUTION with paintwork is imperative. "dont try this at home" would be my approach to that cheers
  4. I have used it, expensive stuff but it does the job I guess, worth the money. cheers
  5. Try any alcohol based product, even methylated spirit, that would work cheers
  6. I'm running 19"x8 with a 42 offset. Tyres 245/35/19. Never had a problem at all, even when loaded with family for holidays. Here are some front and back pics: I'm thinking of selling them as well as the Pedders springs and camber bolts, putting all OEM parts back now that the missus is going to start driving the car more often. :P I hope the info above can help. cheers
  7. Back from the garage: found a black pen at the bottom of it , problem solved!! thank you very much Cheers Argie
  8. mate, what else can i say, top reply , much appreciated. ;) i'm heading off to the garage and see whats going on and i'll report back again. stay tuned. cheers and thanks Argie
  9. Gday guys: I got a quick question may be someone have encountered the same issue :( The lid in the center console where the cups holder go -LHS of the shifter just opens half way to about 45 degree angle. It was working fine until a month ago. Since i don't want to break anything, any help would be appreciated. cheers Argie
  10. I checked postage cost with insurance. i can supply the black grille to your door step anywhere in Oz by Australian Post registered mail and item insured for $200. total cost $165 delivered to your address. please bear in mind i'm bringing the item myself so i cannot do a baulk order. the first one is it almost gone. i'll be bringing one more in a moth time, so PM me if you are interested. if you want to order one $50 deposit to make sure of your commitment. cheers
  11. Hi Guys: i'm in Thailand as i write this email. i bought one more black grill that is coming home for anyone willing to buy it. i can land it for $140 and then it is up to the buyer to choose the shipping method and cost of it. i'm in Nsw and i generally used Australian Post registered mail, however being a fragile item i would suggest transit insurance or similar. they got a new order in, and the black mesh is now silver. that is waht i have got with me right now. they told me that all this new order are all black plastic with silver mesh instead of the black mesh i purchased 10 days ago. if anyone is interested, PM me and it is yours. i'm not interested in auction it so first in first dressed. i'll be getting one more in few weeks time cheers Argie
  12. Hi Guys: i'm in Thailand as i write this email. i bought one more black grill that is coming home with me in the plane for anyone willing to buy it. cost $140 plush shipping cost within Australia. i'm in Nsw and i generally used Australian Post registered mail, however being a fragile item i would suggest transit insurance or similar. they got a new order in, and the mesh is now silver. that is what i have got with me right now. they told me that all this new order are all black plastic with silver mesh instead of the black mesh i purchased 10 days ago. just look at Bondai's pics and that is the one. as far as i can see it is mat black, not gloss. i think they have used some plastic spray to make it shinny for the photo. the mesh is very easy to be detached and you can spray paint it whichever color you wish to. if anyone is interested, PM me and it is yours. i'm not interested in auction it so first in first dressed. i'll be getting one more in few weeks time cheers Argie
  13. Hi Guys: just came back from my local wheel alignment shop. ZR6 does not come with any kind of camber or caster adjustment, only toe. my car pulls to the left too. front right wheel is slightly fwd to the LHS wheel (caster issue). also RHS wheels has more -% angle than the RJS wheel (camber issue) causing the vehicle to clearly pull to the left. we ordered front and rear offset camber bolts and hoping to install them early next week. we will play around with the settings hoping to get it corrected before spending more $$ on the caster bushes kit. i'll keep you informed. cheers Argie
  14. Listen sun: the technique above is used at the markets or small stands for donkey years. When you talk about proper shops, most of them are fixed price. i've been doing it for over 11 years and my wife over 20 years, so i think we got a bit of experience "shopping around". i travel the world for living on a weekly basis, so i think i've been doing business around for a while :D $200 still cheaper than your airfair, accommodation, my time running around instead of sitting by the pool with a cold beer in my hand, etc etc if you can afford to drive a $35K plus vehicle, i guess a $200 accessory at your door steps to make it look different is on the money don't you think? ;) i should mentioned to you that all i did was to show my car on this forum with no intentions of doing business but few members now are interested to see if i can bring some back. I have few people PM me already that would keep me busy for a while should i decide to bring some back, so i guess we have one less person to bring a grill to!! cheers
  15. Gday mate: to be honest with you i didn't paid attention to the shop's name. i don't think there are many car accessories shops in MBK there in the first place. i have been traveling to BKK for the past 11 years and you always see something new. the chromed grill wasn't in the shop, nor was the one i purchased, they brought it in after my request, so i cannot tell you if it is available or not. their English is just very basic, good enought to communicate in person, not quiet sure how would you go over the phone. cheers
