  1. spotted a black sportivo, lowered, runx rear lights, black rims with polished lip, on paramatta road heading towards paramatta way just passed auburn maccas~ =P

    i think it's dennis?

    yeah that was me

were you in a black stivo looking at me as well?

coz i saw at least 5 stivos in various suburbs today

  2. it was on display at Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre earlier this year, me an waiwong38 had a very close looked at the exhaust, it's just a triangle cutout on the rear bumper

and we were lucky enough to see what's under the bonnet for 30 sec......

  3. Dont under estimate the 20vale black top i rekon you will give a stock sportivo a big scare!!!!

I love the levin, its practically like a dc type R but more humble and sleepy. Your car should be doing atleast 15.6, my friend has also got one of those.

    Cheers

it was 15.359 vs 15.365, stock vs stock (drivetrain). give us few more runs and we should achieve very close to 15 even.

  4. surprisingly they didnt break my wallet that much, the whole set cost me less than $800 (fitted and balanced)

oh and they are Made in Japan and the production code is 2606 (26th week of 2006) which i think is accpetable

  5. finally got some new rubber on my Sportivo, managed to get about 40,000km on the old Kumho 712 including 4 track days and numerous OP and RNP runs.

Shopped around for different brands and size including Yokohama AD07, Hankook R-S2/K104, Goodyear GSD3, Bridgestone S03/RE050 etcetc and i finally decide to try Dunlop Sport Maxx 215/45/17.

I am running with my 17x7 ET42 and i asked my friends to sit on the boot for me and found out that the tyres are pretty damn close to the guard! :( :(

But after two weeks of driving there's no evident of any rubbing (yet?? ). I am going to drive my parents to airport today with some luggage on board and see how it goes.

PS. i didnt get my tyres from Beaurepaires because after their 15% off it still cost more then where i got them from. :toast::toast:

  6. yeah i think its same as yours, r there 2 versions?

nono i dont mean there's two versions.

what i mean is the brake light that light up on either side of the reverse light.

me and waiwong38 has 4 brake lights (+ 1 one the spoiler, mine wasnt light up coz i was taking the photo) vs 2 on oridinary corollas

  7. the only thing i need to make those RUNX tail light works on my facelift Sportivo are the wiring loop for pre-facelift and wire it up. you can get them from Toyota for $3x each (what a rip off!!) ended up getting the same thing from a wrecker (after few unpleasant experiences, Xoom and Sunny should know what i am talking about).

sportiyo, did you manage to light up the inside part of the tail light?

    what do u mean?

    i mean this:

hahahahahahahahaha yes the old "they cost 2 much for you" incident :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    damn Lebo....

    :nono::nono::nono:
