I have linked mine to the 2 internal seat position buttons and it is working fine. My wife and I drive the car and we use very different positions so it comes in very handy.

I have Tungsten, and as far as I am concerned it is very different from Silver Ash or Sakana. So not sure why those colours are put in the same category.

Sort of . . . you need to have the mirror adjustment control switch set to either left or right mirror. If it is in the center (i.e. no adjusting) then the mirrors do not lower on reverse. I normally have it set not to lower, as I find it a bit distracting, and I generally switch on for reverse parking only.

I own a Presara and had considered the ZR6 as well, in the end, it was all the added stuff that comes with the Presara that made the difference for me. - Keyless entry and smart start options are very clever, no more fumbling for keys! Has also come in handy when doing grocery shopping and trying to open the boot. - The keys can be tuned to the seat memory so the driver seat and mirrors automatically shifts into position when I open the door. This is especially good, because my wife is much shorter than me and I get all cramped up trying to get in! - The Toyotalink is great for tracking your car and checking odometer reading. Had a bit of fun when my wife went to Melbourne and I was left in Sydney (see my previous thread) - Auto wipers are cool, but lose the appeal after awhile, so I just leave it off. - Auto lights are convenient and useful so I always have it set on auto. - Rear power sunshade is great when showing off, but don't see any practical use. - I like the rear view mirror auto-dim function. Nothing to write home about, but if it's there I might as well enjoy it. - GPS takes a bit of time to understand how to use, but once you figure out POIs and routing it can be very handy. I don't think I could ever buy another car without GPS. - Bluetooth for the mobile phone is almost essential as my wife and I change phones almost every year. I also like being able to store numbers and set speed dials from the dash. - And last but not least, the rear reverse camera is a wonderful idea and has already come in useful on a few occasions.

Just to update that I took it in and mentioned the problem. The guy said he would take a look but as it was booked for the 1000k checkup they would not be doing a full service. I haven't been able to take it for a good run, and maybe it is just my imagination, but it does seem to be a bit better. I told them I would monitor it and raise the issue again at the next service if there is still a problem.

The "Odometer Trigger" occurs every 500 kms automatically and logs the date, odometer reading and gps location. It even calculates when the next expected service is based on your driving patterns. Just from your screen shot I can see you have done over 4500kms since 26 Jan and averaged 500kms approximately every 3 weeks. Have to wonder whether Toyota uses this information for anything . If you want the current gps location select "Where is my car?" on the left hand menu, then click FIND CAR. Alternatively, you can select "System Test" on the left hand menu, then click TEST SYSTEM. This is pretty much the same thing as FIND CAR only includes status of battery and ignition.

Thanks - I used once just for registration and they call me once - I now have to find out where is my logon & password otherwise call them to get new one. By the way, all my manuals disappeared after my first service, Toyota only gave me a manual for the GPS/NAV system. Again, many thanks. Now my wife wants to know where I am - by the way how did you do that? Thanks. BH Toyota provide a Toyotalink website which you can log onto once you have registered the car. While online, you can check battery status, odometre reading, estimated service date, even whether your ignition is on or not . . . and of course the "Where is my car" option which shows a small map and address of current location. May not be for everyone, but I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to gadgets and pushing buttons :P which is why I got the Presara in the first place!

do u seriously think they will say, "Oh yea, toyota had this problem, and yea, we are lame at making cars.. dont worry, giv me few more decades to build a proper car!" but they will "PROFESSIONALLY"(or should i say, the bullsh!t way) says, "Sorry, when you do face this problem in future, THEN book in your car.. coz we do build quality cars" :o my ***** I'm really not to fussed what they say! Overall, I am really enjoying my car, it is very well built, comes with everything I could want and drives a treat! The issue of pulling left is a small one, and whether it gets fixed or not, will not make the car any less enjoyable. I guess you must have had a different opinion / experience which makes me wonder why you have stuck with Toyota.

I've been having the same problem with my Presara and will be taking it in for the first service (at 3500 kms) next Tuesday. After reading this thread, I plan on mentioning the problem and seeing what happens. Will let you know the result.

I believe it's been available for a few years on Toyota's 'top' cars. So it was on the Camry Azura and Camry Grande until Aurion Presara came out. I remember seeing that the ZR6 had a similar instrument panel on the roof (for controlling the moon roof), and there was a blank faceplate in the area where the Toyotalink buttons go. So you may be able to get it added. Can't remember how the other Aurions were configured.

Hi All, I picked up my new Aurion Presara a few weeks ago and registered for the Toyotalink facility. Didn't really think much about it until my wife decided to visit relatives in Melbourne while I stayed in Sydney for work. Since then, I have been tracking her on the internet and calling every now and then to tell her where she is! Ok . . . so there are certain implications around privacy and paranoia however we've been having a bit of fun with it and IT IS MY CAR I'm now hoping this comes standard on all cars by the time my kids get to driving age!!!!
