  1. Drain and plugs as you said. Turn it over with the plugs out to make sure there is no oil in the combustion chamber. There will be smoke for a while once it is started, this will be oil burning off. Keep an eye out for leaking seals.
  2. I am not sure how you would like me to demonstrate this. LUX can not be adjusted, sensitivity can be. Some vehicles have this option in their audio/visual units, others require a visit to the dealership, where it is done via an adjustment using dealership software. It varies from model to model. A quick Google of: "toyota adjust auto light sensitivity" will get you some results.
  3. Which is a repanelled V6 Camry from every other dealer market.
  4. Depending on the model, the settings can be changed by the dealership.
  5. 2 years or sooner depending on the humidity of where you live. The more humid, the more frequently it requires changing, as brake fluid is hygroscopic.
  6. Kluger and Highlander are essentially the same vehicle.
  7. I would say that your combination(light) switch is a good place to start. You could either buy a cheapy and swap it or get an auto electrician to have a look.
  8. In my time, I have not seen anyone here do it.
  9. I think you're going to have to make them from scratch. Unless Castlemaine Rod Shop(or similar) make them, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  10. Welcome. You're probably not going to get any assistance on the swap side of things.
  11. Any signs of previous accident damage? I would say the door could have been swapped with one from a model that did not have the feature.
  12. If he works in spare parts, he may not have any knowledge of faults. His job is to find and provide parts. The technicians will have that sort of information.
  13. It is definitely possible, I am not sure whether it will be 100% plug and play though. From memory it was 1 plastic screw at the middle in the top of the black surround, then pull the grey piece directly outwards. From there it is 4 bolts to remove the cluster itself. It has been a little while since I removed it.
  14. I highly doubt it. I have never seen them weigh in on "modifications".
  15. This is a form of forced induction, which you said was out of the question.
  16. Well, my SR has the brighter Optitron cluster which is the same as the SR5 from factory, so there is a good chance that it will. There is also the issue of the odometer being incorrect. My cluster has the ability for the lights to be replaced, so I would assume yours to be the same. Pull it out and have a bit of a look.
  17. There is also this: http://www.newhilux.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19169&start=0
  18. Unfortunately the images are broken; however, there is enough information to achieve the end result. http://www.newhilux.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2541
  19. I would un-pair and re-pair. Does it say connected or disconnected on initial load up? Are the calls registering on the unit at all? If they are and you answer with no audio, there is also in-call volume control, which is adjusted during the call only, via the volume knob.
  20. Do you not have the rotary switch, second from the right on the bottom row? My 2013 SR has it and this is the dimmer switch.
