mine light sensored at 17% by the tinter i drive a camry...my fronts are getting done 50% just to cut glare.. my cons for going that dark would be when the sun hits the front windscreen, i get a glare of the aircon vents on my door windows thus makin it harder to view the rear view...hence the 50% is goin on ...the other con is i find myself rollin da windows down when parking...getting old?...c*ck eyed? ...maybe oh and erm if anyone cares all my car gets tinted privately by this "well known tinter" top notch not one prob what so ever legal issues? none so far thank god... as for what darkness you want is relative eh...you gain something you lose something coilovers = good looks & handling but also stiff ride and dangerous wet road drive tinting = cool looks,less uv,privacy to peering thieves but also = visibility reduced all the above is dangerous but hey what isnt? sense and sensibility is the key

..Your coilovers are set to the stiffest settings and the road is wet from rain? hi Guys, new on forums, virgin poster, virgin toyota owner. Driving a Camry 04 Sportivo right and so far i have dropped it on Pedders Sprtsryder springs and whacked 18" on it i have always been a spirited driver, i have whiteline rear barred the big girl, put nice adrenalin rubbers all around and now am looking at either staying on the shock + spring combo or go into coilies ...i know the big picture of the pros & cons but i was hoping to hear more from you guys apart from hard ride etc.... like how the brake response will be on wet roads? i plan to have them set on the stiffest because i need driveway clearance :P

Thanks fellas, yeah i'd thought CAI would be the best, havent seen any "pre Fab" apart from the EBAY ones from the US, Injen and AEM but not sure if their fitments are the same... i know it sounds silly, Camrys were built to cruise gently in and not red lined but i just miss the "roar" i've seen Borla / TRD sports mufflers but ....nyeeeh.......i dont know how it would sound like or how loud, besides i know the coppers are on my tail and the last car i had a fujitsubo and i got done for exceeding the DB levels at 3000RPM

hi guys, due to unforeseen circumstances i had to get a Camry which at first i was <_< about ( i had a "sportier" car ) before... then it kinda grew on me especially on the sydney melbourne road trip... i havent done much yet apart from whiteline RSB, Pedders sports ryda, KYB excel g, MTX sub 12" x 2, HID 600K LEDS all around, 18" SSW rims saving some money now for either darker tint? GSM car alarm? CAI? which are in the same region cost wise .... or if im ambitious enough 19" work euroline rims which a mate of mine is selling at a bargain with about 80% nitto tyres anyhowwww thats a little spill about me and a little pic of my car... thanks for having me here, looking forward to your inputs.
