  1. Ok Guys.........Dyno day is booked for Sunday the 16th. Contact is Simon from NT Performance 9687 3074.

    Time start : 9am

    Finish: Late Afternoon

Lunch : Free, oganised by NT performance

    Cost : $30/car

Dyno mode: Shootout, 3 runs per car.

Location: 25 Youell Street, Footscray Vic.

I made the booking for 20 cars but more are welcome. :)

RWD cars are welcome also. Be there !!!!!

  2. But you cant drive the titis off it and still be within the speed limit. If youre in a 80 zone, and youre doing 40, even if youre still in second, it will take a bit for the revs to build up, and by the time you rev out second youre over the speed limit. Thats what makes it a hard car to drive in certain traffic situations.

  3. And thats all fine guys I totally agree, just makes you think this car was designed with selling attributes in mind, not a purposeful built car. I now know why it got the bad publicity, because its got a sporty engine in a car designed for everyday use. Its built around numbers which dont add up for everyday driving. I mean its fine to drive, just, if you ever need to step on it and use that "power" and youre stuck in a high gear, by the time it arrives, it could be too late.

  4. First of all, I dont intend to make this thread controversial, just informative.

I love my car, handling great, just one concern....the engine doesent make sense for everyday driving.

This morning was a perfect example, I had to overtake was in 3rd....the car didnt move, dropped to second, moved a bit....but by the time you get to lift it can be too late and you might stack. This car is hard to drive sometimes, you almost have to drive it like a race car, revving its tits off to move. What im more concerned about is lift....well its great and all, but how often do we use it in normal driving?? hardly....so its function is somewhat impractical, especially in 1st gear around a corner...just thought id share an issue that doesent get enough coverage on here...getting in trouble by the lack of usabale power..

    Any opinions on this?

  5. I'd say they give printouts, its a DynoDynamics dyno. The guy told me about a chevy club having one last month with 30 odd cars, took them a whole day.

    So who is in??

    1.Me+1

    2.Peekay

    3.Egene

    4.HDACHE

    5.Chompies

the rest of you guys can confirm yourselves....at this stage im thinking the Bike Grand Prix weekend in October the 15th or 16th...does anyone have issues with those dates?

  6. Ok Guys

I rang NT Performance Tubocharging in Footscray, they can do it next month, as long as we give them 2 weeks notice. Its $30 a car as long as we get 20...and you get 3 dyno runs. They will have a BBQ and it will take most day from 9.30 to about 4 in the afternoon....

So who would still be interested??? I would like people to confirm so that a booking can be made next week....It will be on a weekend day so let me know.

    Cheers

  7. Some of you guys are taking this too seriously, i mean get a life, its not a federal election, you dont have special powers being a mod, infact you get restricted. Whethere I am a mod or not makes no difference, but to some i guess it does  I was made a mod along with peekay and daniel(2zz_ge) and egene because when this forum started we had a common interest and we owned rolla sportivo's. Danz was also one of the first, so i reackon he would be worthy For the rest of you guys that want to become mods, its up to Steve, but to be honest there isnt much to do, apart from youre a mod  WOW!!! i guess you can impress your parents and make up some shiet to make them think you dont spend all day on the pc downloading porn ;) as youre moderating the forum, but yer dont fark this forum up by signing every dikc just to get a vote. Sad farking world for some.

  8. Its gona cost around $500 US, all stainless. Im basing that by looking at the matrix exhaust. From what it sounds the CES used a higher flow pipe 2.5 inch but a more restrictive muffler, where as the magnaflow uses a 2.25 inch with a free flowing muffler. As for noise, i think the magnaflows are pretty good from what I have heard. Can anyone back me up on that?

  9. Ive been waiting for this system for a while now, it was just released in the US, no price of as yet. Its made op 2.25 inch piping. Im wondering how it would stack up against the CES since the CES has 2.5 inch piping. Does the .25 inch make that much of a difference??? Surely magnaflow would have tested theirs on a dyno. What do you guys think? is 2.5 too much for NA?
