  1. Managed to have this fixed through Roche Motor Wrecking (Phone : 96663217) for $198. There were few others who responded with the similar quote (Big John's Auto Wreckers : 46284322 and Honda Auto Spares : 96435049/0401624929) Sites http://www.autorepairers.com.au and http://www.1300wrecker.com.au were useful in finding these sources. www.ozeparts.com.au confirmed that they don't have this replacement. Thanks YURO and moz for your replies.
  2. Thanks Mates. Will try the wreckers first and if nothing works out will go for the OEM part.
  3. Hi all, The passenger side mirror of my Toyota Corolla (2005 Sedan) got damaged while I was reversing my car in a parking lot (It was around 0200 am and I was tired like hell). The damage was realised soon and I applied the brake instantly. But the mirror glass is broken and the black plastic casing around the glass has also got damaged (find attached). The housing/motor are all intact. A quote from the smash repairer is $500+ (Apparently he is planning to get the whole unit replaced by Toyota OEM part) I checked the archive and found few posts. But could not find any reference to a repairer in Sydney who will be able to fix it for a reasonable amount. Appreciate your inputs. I live in Parramatta.
  4. Hi EMC, Thanks for the reply. It is a Corolla Sedan Auto, 2005 and done around 34K. The Car runs smooth and I don't have any other problems.. Planning to take it for service soon for a peaceful drive. When you drive at above 100 and this feeling that the streeling response is not that good is scary :(
  5. Hi experts, I notice that the the steering is not that responsive or feel that the car is not under control when I am driving at speeds at around 110. Is it the problem with the power steering or the high wind factor in the freeways at specific locations. I don't notice this at low speeds and city driving. Thank you for your feedback.
  6. Hi all, I am a new member and new to automatic transmission. Can the experts please let me know, when should I use the other gear shifts (Except for P, N, R & D) for better engine health and fuel economy. I tend to use D always while I drive. Thank you.
