from my knowledge the motor is in the roof just behind the acutal sliding panel and works using steel cable and pullys... but if it doenst work there should be a manual adjustment hex-nut to open close the roof panes somewhere in the front of the roof lining... last option call the experts... or look at webasto sunroofs for a replacement ps the fuse should be the first place you should check... engine bay or under the dash

Can anybody help me? I recently bought an 86 Celica, knowing the sunroof didn't work. I thought it would be a simple fix!! I can't find any blown fuses, bad wiring or anything. I have not yet checked the switch condition or the motor. Can anybody enlighten me as to where the sunroof motor is located? I can't find it.
