  1. yeah i made the air box my self, there are details about my cold air on ozcelica under tech, its being supplied air from the front bar.
  2. hmmm well all i can say is good luck manuals would probably harder to find for that car then the car its self, what kinda stuff are you after out of it. if your after specific little bits it might be worth jumping over to toymods or ozcelica and askign the ladies and gentlemen there your questions!!!
  3. hmmm yeah sorry mate i don't know all that much about it short of that i was told by a GT4 guy that i should get GL5 and thats what i did, i can't confirm or deny that comment, considering mine had automatic tranmission fluid in it b4 i got it i have to go with its gotta be better then that!!!
  4. i used a penrith oil, grade you are after is GL5, for 7th gen questions see ozcelica then scroll down to 7th gen and ask in there, you will get a much greater responce
  5. why not in order of price: wheels samco sport intake pipe koni's yellow adjustable strut inserts of course we have pictures:
  6. yeah but andy Tvis kicks in at 4G on a gen 1, 5G for acis, never been or owned a gen 2 so i don't know!!
  7. oh i'm sorry did i not meantions i have a 5th gen... my bad, i'm hoping that my chasis being longer then the 4th gen will mean the headers have more room to get down under the engine and then tuck up b4 the suspension crossmember i have no idea how to find out if it will or not, short of buying them then having to sell them to ross who has the only St202 in queensland that i know of!!!
  8. ummm 3500 is close enough to 4, sounds like you might have a tuned Tvis port, good for you i have acis, different system need a lot more tuning we are goin to see if my friend at toyota wants to flash my unflashable ECU, its impossible, but it may be possible... if you get the drift
  9. yeah i don't check this site all that much hence my low post count, ozcelica.com has a forum site i post lots there, but i remember which shouldn't be too hard i will jump on here and have a look.

    wrx rims

i don't know about hte ST162 but the ST184 has 5x100, with 14"x6" +45 offset, remember when you got wider rims you need to adjust the offset accordingly as there is more mag out for the center or the mag. WRX rims will fit on a ST184.
  11. i have a factory ST184 strut brace sitting in the back yard. as for the whiteline one i paid 99 for mine plus shipping, fitment on the celica is a bit dodgey on the SX coz it sits right up against the bonnet.

    3SFE

best option is to get a imported 3sge, and freshen it up with new seals and what not, and pop that in, new motor should cost you about 1300-1400 with wiring and ECU, the guy you need to wire it is name jonathan, he lives here in brisbane(cost 400, ~450 for the gold coast that were he did matty's). exhaust wise well that can cost you up to a grand depending where you go and what you want. engine conversions are not cheap, but you will get alot more power out of a 3sge then you did in the 3sfe, note you also don't need to get a mod plate under the queensland road athorities the St162 was released with a 3sge as an option but you have a 3sfe which mean you have and ST, not an SX unless someone has done an conversion to it, confirm this buy the drum only rear brakes.
  13. and all imports are 2L 3S motors, early models had the 3sfe, later models go the 3sge. a picture of the engine and i should be able to tell you which if the 2 it is.
  14. if they have seen all of there major services fine, if they haven't well one thing after another will break till you say screw it and rebuild/recon or do an engine conversion to it, also see www.ozcelica.com
  15. i would be interested but i'm goin to see if i can get HKS ST202 will fit mine, coz i know they don't fit matty's ST162 with a Gen III 3sge. and i can also confirm that those headers will only fit another Gen III 3SGE.
