there was an old thread on the previous GSU45R kluger where alot of people have mentioned the prices paid and helped me with getting a good deal on the previous price. :D

Hi all would like to know what model and the prices paid brand new for the toyota kluger. So that it could help myself and others who are in the market to buy. Would be great if you can list the options/accessories also.

Ive got a 2012 kluger and ive experienced the clunk. I had 1 month warranty left and i booked it into canterbury toyota who did a test drive and acknowledge the issue. I just mentioned that i know of a friend who had the same issue and had the steering intermediate shaft replaced and it fixed the problem. They disagnosed it and came back concluded it was that and waited 2 week for a part from japan which is a permanent fix of the known issue. Have got the car done and it hasnt made a noise since. Hope this helps others out in the future who look to get the clunking noise rectified.

thanks all for your input. seems xenon extreme and morimoto HID kit is the 2 kit i am deciding with. both with very great feedback and reviews. for anyone interested, some info on hids is available at www.theretrofitsource.com i think im leaning towards morimoto. both is priced the same

Would like to know of a reputable brand for HID/Xenon kits that anyone has used. im after 4300k or 5000k for the light output. cheers. hard to tell apart the fake philips hid kit on ebay whether genuine or not. would hate to pay $239 on a fake philips hid kit. appreciate everyones thoughts on this.

Interesting what you've done. I just read through from the very first page. About theKluger as i only skim read through it. What mods were done for you to achieve the 0-100 in 7.1 secs?

i want to know if i will have any rubbing issues with the tyres 205/45/17 offset is +42. i am on king springs superlows. the rubbing issues i am concerned about is most probably under full load .. like 4 or 5 passengers in the car on superlows n 205/45. i am currently on 205/40 with no issues ... i am aware of the speedo inaccuracy thanks

How did it turn out ? im referring to the finish of ur products and also the color matching. i'm getting like half my car resprayed there cos someone keyed my car. kinda worried abt the job such as color matching n the finish. reason why i chose him cos the price he quoted was half the price of other places. btw my car is white. going in for respray on monday and hopefully all turns out good. been hearing alot of good comments and hence i am going to d sports to get it done. hopefully all turns out good. i have read from the forum that someone here had a bad experience onli but rest is all good. sorry for the lengthy post.

my one is late 04 ascent and i got it for 370. theres heaps more torque as it hit 3.5 and at 4 it just pulls pretty good. but i have a cat back exhaust. can't seem to hear the induction noise much but can hear it on idle.

i have a facelift acent and i installed my injen cai and apparently the fit is really tight. the piping is touching the headlight. any advice??

saturday prolly 3.30 - 4 saw a black rolla think it was a stivo riding low with 2 passengers and an exhaust. had a c one cf bonnet on the hume highway and turned into cabramatta rd.

YUP !!!! :D well i brought it to some dude and he got it off for me . he charged me $10 and was more than happy to give him ten bucks he did wat u did and didnt work and he just tried again and got it off. took him a well ten minutes to get it off.

the yokohama c drive is good, very grippy, good wear factor and would last 40000ks around $200 mark

wat abt the x-force twin loop exhaust? isnt that pretty quite also ? just a suggestion as i neva heard a twin loop b4.

nope doesnt work .. my friend tried it with his breaker bar and ratchet and rattle gun. tried many socket sets too.

sick ... ill give it a go and see how it goes ... prolly have to go somewhere and get it destroyed.
