  1. G'day, For sale is a set of rear exhaust that would fit a toyota aurion 2007-2012 pre-facelift models and to my knowledge a camry of the same year. They are a straight through design, and by swapping these with your stock mufflers you would be doing a muffler delete. Easy to do just jack up rear of the car and unbolt the 4 bolts and take the stock ones off and put these on. It's a direct swap out and is easy to change back can be done in 20mins They turn the quite no sound into a roaring beast! The sound is hard to describe so i have linked you to a video on youtube: All this does it still keeps your centre muffler, you just remove the two at the back which gives you a little bit of noise. Paid much more so only asking for $300 + postage will ship anywhere in Aus, and take paypal or bank transfer. You will pay much more at a muffler shop to get this done as it's custom made with flanges and direct fit and swap.

  6. Hi, I'm in the process of purchasing a 2014 Aurion ZR6 and I understand that they have a 10 speaker JBL sound system. I was wondering if anyone knows the specs? Sub size and wattage etc? Apologies if this has already been asked, I couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Cheers
  7. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for a 2015 Aurion. Workshop manual would be even more appreciated.
  8. Hey people, new to the forum here! Just picked up a new 2015 Aurion Sportivo and will upload pics soon. I would I like to know from other GSV50R owners if this issue is normal? Basically when I reach around 60km/h and let go of the accelerator, the car engine brakes (or downshifts?) and the revs go up slightly and you can really feel the deceleration. It doesn't just happen downhill but also happens on a flat road. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
  9. Came across something interesting today and thought I would share and make sure my car wasn't being weird. I've driven an Aurion before but I actually own this one and like to experiment ^_^ . When I turn my key to a point between ACC and IGN (halfway before your actually in ignition), things like A/C, auto lights etc respond (no reds/ system checks, optitron still blacked out), and funny enough both radiator/ cooling fans come on as well at full blast. They stay on until I twist fully into IGN, or go back to ACC. The car was cold, on a cold night. I'm assuming this is some sort of back-up cooling method for whatever reason. Has anyone else seen this on their Aurions?
  10. Hey all, I've been researching on towbars for my 2007 Aurion ZR6, I've recently purchased a jet ski and want to be able to tow it. i have seen the factory fitted towbar which requires them to cut hole in the rear bar and the thought of that brings tears to my eyes haha. My question is, Are there any towbars that dont require cutting a hole that can be mounted underneath to the frame? -BADZR6
  11. Hi all, Just wondering if you could please advise how easy it is to remove the panel located to the right of the ignition switch for the installation of a button to switch on and off a set of DRLs I would like to install. Picture below: The DRLs I would like to install can be found at the following link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181033633707?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT The switch I would like to install can be found at this link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111044101738?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT The DRLs might turn out to be rubbish but I've already purchased them but fingers crossed, eh? Can anyone also recommend an auto sparky who would be able to do such an installation for me? I've done smaller modifications like installing an analog radio scanner into my dash and hiding the antenna in the A pillar (not the best for reception, but sufficient for needs at the moment), but because this is my first car I'm not particularly keen on doing a mod like this myself. Cheers.
  12. Have bought and owned an Aurion Touring 2010 for a little over a month now and thought i should share my thoughts. 64k on the clock. Next to new condition in and out. People say it's just an ATX with a couple of extra features, but they are wrong. The car is a Prodigy only missing leather seats and the electric sunshade! All the extra's you'd want for the money you're spending. On top of the AT-X feature list, things like reverse camera, parking sensors, Rain sensing wipers, rear spoiler, Sportivo tail lights, full trip computer, electro-chromatic rear-view mirror (auto dimming), and fog lamps, really hit the spot and knock competitor cars right off the charts (and i can keep going). Engine is perfect, really goes when you want it to, and is the most cruisiest car at low speeds. Transmission at times may take an extra millisecond to respond when floored, but the 2GR-FE will make up for it when you're passing the other car/s. The 200kw do not stay hidden. Clocked at 6.8 seconds 0 – 100 (stock, for now) I have found that tip-tronic can be slightly hesitant. There are aftermarket options to give it an extra kick (not that it really needs it) such as a High flow air filter or exhaust system. i've read that just by using 98 fuel you can add 6kw of power. Traction will kick in if you floor it from a stop, but i've found that if you control your foot and take the pedal down more slowly and gradually, you won't spin out. It's something to get used to coming from an AWD Kluger, but very worth it. Fuel economy is decent, i can average 10 to 11 L/100km in stop start traffic and suburban areas, and can get as low as 7 L/100km on long distance highway trips (Sydney to Bathurst is my frequent). For a stock standard audio system, it really is impressive. Great bass, and the massive front tweakers don't go missed. The bad (luckily most of these are fixable): – Touring wheels were not appealing to me at all, i have changed to a set of pre-owned almost new condition SX6/ ZR6 rims running on Michelin Energy's – When i upgraded the gear selector lights to LED, a nasty creaking noise started to come from the cup-holder plastics rubbing against each other when turning and accelerating/ decelerating – a spray of Inox lubricant on all joints stopped this immediately (just leave you're windows open for a while) – The notorious 'pull to the left' issue – funny enough my mechanic did all he could to get rid of this and could only improve it (with old wheels). When i changed to the Sportivo wheels, it completely went away, tested at all speeds alignment is 100% in line (and i installed the new wheels myself, pumped to 40psi front and back). – Stock interior lighting is shocking, especially the ***** poor boot light. I have upgraded any and all lighting to LED (dome, door lights, headlights, reverse lights, centre console lights, parkers, glovebox, you name it) I've even added the LED DRL fog light housing replacement, and they really look great. – Rear-view mirror rattles/ loose – a single bolt needs to be tightened which is against the glass on the arm of the mirror itself. – The bluetooth audio can be a bit shoddy with iPhones, but most of the time works fine. No Siri funtionality at all. If you try and use Siri while driving, the system will disconnect your phone after Siri does what you say. All in all, it is a dream to drive with miniscule issues that can be fixed. Comfortable, spacious, and smooth and decent looking ride. Not a supercar, but close enough.
  13. Hi all, These photos are taken over the span of about a year with some small additions during that time. First change being the addition of the 19" Kluger wheels, replacing the standard 17" alloys: Second mod was replacing the standard Touring reverse cam radio with a newer model unit with sat nav. Required modification to the wiring to work with all the existing features of the Touring: Third and fourth modifications being the addition of a Uniden UBC355XLT analog radio scanner and a USB/Aux input socket from the Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86, positioned where the lighter socket and ash tray previously were. At the time the scanner's wire antenna was hidden in the A pillar trim: TOCAU sticker: Hardwire install of the Uniden iGO 320 dash cam. It has since been repositioned to the driver's side: DRLs installed. By this time the smaller Toyota weathershields were also installed: Additional steering wheel controls for phone on hook/off hook and voice command from a US Camry installed: Proper antenna for the scanner installed: USB charging port and phone mount installed:
  14. Hi everyone, just thought I'd share a few pics of my installation of an antenna for my analog Uniden UBC355XLT scanner. A standard Z shape or L shape bracket won't work on the Aurion or Camry due to the angle at which the bonnet and fender meet. As a result I bought a bracket designed for the Mazda BT-50 from Prestige Communications and it fits perfectly. More info about that bracket is available here: http://www.rfiwireless.com.au/mobile-products/mobile-antenna-accessories/fender-mount-bracket-tlm-2-bt50.html Pics below: I plan on eventually adding a Uniden UBCD396XT digital scanner with the UBC-RH96 remote head accessory and using the antenna with that. When that happens I'll revert the analog scanner to using the wire antenna hidden in the A pillar. My setup looks much like the below at the moment, though there have been a few changes since this pic was taken: Has anyone else here got a scanner or CB radio antenna on their Aurion or Camry?
  15. Hi all, this is my first toyota it's an 08 Aurion Sx6
  16. Hey guys, On my 2007 Aurion, the head unit isn't playing any disks. I have the standard stock one also used on the ATX. When I insert a disk, it displays 'READING DISK' but does not actually begin to play it. This issue transitioned from an intermittent one to not functioning at all. The radio still completely functions. Is there a way to fix this? Or is my only way out to purchase a new head unit? Thanks in advance! :D
  17. Hi Guys, I am wondering if anyone here has encountered a similar issue. Recently got my car serviced by my regular mechanic. My car has done 150k (Aurion Sportivo 2007 ZR6). Service included changing oil (pentix), oil filter (ryco), fuel filter (ryco), cleaning spark plugs as they were in good condition, cleaning radiator coolant, replacing breaks and top on oil levels. After the service I noticed that the car is taking a bit long self to start. Took it back to my mechanic an he advised that it might be the fuel filter therefore he put the old one back but still the same issue. Now he can't figure it out what may be causing the problem. If anyone has experienced similar issue, please let me know. Cheers
  18. Hi all, Bit of a long story... I have owned this car for around 6 years and generally been pretty happy with it. However, around 12-14 months ago I began to get random warning lights coming up - mainly the engine and VSC (orange ones). They might come up a couple of times in a week, and then not again for months. Anyway - I have taken the car to Toyota dealers 6 or 7 times to chase up these errors, not including regular services - and basically got the same response each time: "Yeah we saw some error codes, couldn't find any problems during testing, cleared the codes, you're right to go". Then, about a month ago, I was finding the car would sometimes have a lag in engaging drive. The engine would rev and it would suddenly clunk into gear a couple of seconds later. So Toyota said this was beginning to sound like a transmission problems - and I should start by flushing and replacing the transmission fluid, which I paid around $200 to do. Then yesterday the engine starts making a horrible clattering sound. I was close to home and noticed it was leaking red fluid. I was fairly sure this was transmission fluid. Wasn't sure if I should drive the 5 or 6km to Toyota, but did anyway. Toyota are now saying this latest problem is nothing to do with transmission, it's leaking engine oil from a burst line, will be approximately $600 to repair - and they're not even sure if the engine is ok - because it did lose almost all of the oil. I have seen posts here and other stuff online about the V6 engine oil line and failures. But does this sound right to people?? I take obsessive care of the car. It has done 160,000km - but has cost me well over $1000 this year in servicing and repairs. Was hoping to get at least a couple more years out of it but I'm starting to wonder... Plus I was sold on the fact that Toyota keep comprehensive service records of the car, since before I owned it, which might avoid these sorts of issues coming up.
  19. Hi, We went to Mount Buller last weekend. While going uphill, my 2010 Toyota Aurion AT-X was making a beating sound like bit-bit-bit-bit (or dhip dhip dhip dhip ...). Which I have never heard before in regular driving condition. Considering a powerful 3.5 litre v6 engine, I would be quite surprise if the reason is a over working engine! The car drive smooth in regular condition. Any suggestion?
  20. hey guys i was looking to buy a CAI for my aurion and found this one relatively cheep on ebay. Says it would fit a 2gr-fe but not sure if it has all the vacuum hoses required? it looks kinda similar to the fujita cai but cant be sure. can anyone help? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cold-Air-Intake-Polish-Pipe-3-Blue-Cone-Filter-For-07-08-Camry-V6-3-5L-2GR-FE-/310946621470?fits=Model%3ACamry&hash=item4865dce81e
  21. I've recently purchased a used 2009 Aurion GSV40R Touring and it has TRD badging on the engine cover and brembo brakes fitted all round. I've always assumed that this was a factory option although I couldn't find anything on it. Do you guys think the badge is perhaps a fake and the brembo's were fitted aftermarket. Does anyone else have the same?
  22. Just looking to buy Aurion A TX 2009 it's done only 15,000 km and can get it for $16,000 does this seam good price?
