  1. Picked up a sad RT81 virus with a worn out 12r earlier this year, throttle assembly and other bits missing/broken from the car. If you have spare accelerator assembly linkages / side mirror/ carby / original wheels / Fuel & temp gauge or any other factory parts please let me know! Would consider taking the whole engine if in good shape. Any leads or information to whereabouts of these parts welcome, would be happy to pay postage for parts. Located - Victoria Help me save it!

  5. I've got a 1986 Corona with an AE86 steering wheel on it. The steering wheel was on it when I bought it. Horn didn't work, but I was sure it would be an easy fix. Checked the contacts by hand the horn worked. Tried 2 different boss kits with completely new steering wheels, even 2 different original Corona steering wheels from some friends who also have Coronas. But still nothing doing. Someone suggested that the contact may be too far down in the steering column for the wheels to reach? Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had a Corona with a similar issue and they knew a fix.
  6. Hey guys, Newbie here - Looking for centre or even the whole diff for a 1980 Toyota Corona RT132, this has been difficult. i have come across a 1988 Toyota corona ST141, talking to the owner over phone he believes I could use the diff out of this maybe, is this true or wasting my time?
  7. Hi Everyone! I'm restoring a vintage Toyota Corona RT84 1707cc 6R of 1972. I'm trying to find an original carburetor, but it seems a difficult task. One of previous owners replaced the original carburetor with an electric one, which doesn't work properly. At low rpm the carburetor drowns the engine with too much petrol and the car goes dead when stopped. The carburetor manufacturers need either pictures of the original carburetor or the OEM reference number, which I don't have. Can anybody help me! Cheers, Daniel

  12. Hey Guys, Have had my 1981 Toyota Corona XX (RT133) for a few years now but now that I'm nearly done with school I've decided to invest the extra spare time into fixing it up and making it look more appealing. It's got the 21R-C 2.0L motor that works great and mechanically the car is in great condition. Main attention needs to be focused on the bodywork and replacing trim that has suffered from the previous owner. Main things i am looking for is the plastic bumpers (front and rear), new indicator/parking light units and new tail lights (as these have been damaged from car parks). Also loki

  22. I picked up a lift back recently, I love the shape and interior, I'm not that into cars and realised when looking for its value they are not that readily available, I've decided that it should go to a person who is more passionate for this style of car, Do they deserve that kind of kindness??
  23. Hey guys, We bought our wee beauty just over a year ago and absolutely love her. Although, we are useless when it comes to knowing anything about cars. I am learning more day by day but joined this site in the hope I can develop my knowledge so we can take better care of her. We've recently had a service and have discovered one or two minor issues but the main issue being we need to replace the petrol tank! Apparently with these older models the tanks were often made of stainless steel and the water/condensation in the petrol tank naturally made them rust over time. So sad! We are actuall
