Got some time to sit down and mock this circuit up on the bread board today. a quick test showed it was going to work. Pretty simple design using a 555 timer and 4017 decade counter. Been really keen to get this set up and working for some time now. Here it is on the breadboard. looked very promising. Next was time to try it out on my new setup for the aurion

Hi guys, I have a plan of sticking LED strips under my headlight and running it as a DRL. I was originally thinking it to just tap from parker but then found out parkers don't go out when headlight turned on as I could get pulled over by cops and fined for running headlight and DRL simultaneosly. So I am now in search of how to hook it up. Ideally it would be super awesome if it turns on with ignition and go out when headlight/parker turned on. I am complete noob to car electronic, so if anyone knows how to do it, detailed guide would be awesome. Cheers

Hi guys, 12' ZRE152 Corolla Conquest (w/ DRLs)

Hi guys, Recently acquired a 2012 Corolla conquest and installed DRL's today. The Philip's DRL's actually came out a lot better than I thought they were going to ! Everything is stock right now except badges + DRL's. Might leave it that way unless I can get myself a rear sway bar for cheap, then I'll probably get some lowering springs same time. -
Hi guys, I've just installed some DRL's on my 2012 corolla today and I'm wondering what the best way is to hook into the parkers ? The Philips DRL's I've got have a wire that taps into the headlight/parkers so they dim when headlights are on. Kind of not wanting to splice/fast-tap into the parker light straight from the bulb, anybody know where the parker wire is in the fuse box ? Or have a diagram they can share ? Thanks

Hi all, Just wondering if you could please advise how easy it is to remove the panel located to the right of the ignition switch for the installation of a button to switch on and off a set of DRLs I would like to install. Picture below: The DRLs I would like to install can be found at the following link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181033633707?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT The switch I would like to install can be found at this link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111044101738?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT The DRLs might turn out to be rubbish but I've already purchased them but fingers crossed, eh? Can anyone also recommend an auto sparky who would be able to do such an installation for me? I've done smaller modifications like installing an analog radio scanner into my dash and hiding the antenna in the A pillar (not the best for reception, but sufficient for needs at the moment), but because this is my first car I'm not particularly keen on doing a mod like this myself. Cheers.

Dear All, I'm in East Africa, Tanzania I bought 2013 in Dubai, but the car originates from Australia. I want to replace right hand side Headlight to OEM. The Left hand side has Daylight Running Light (DRL) but the right hand one is local one which does not have DRL. I've tried to check with Dubai Dealers, they told me they don't have in stock. PLEASE ADVICE. Thank you in Advance. BARRY
