Hi all, I'm new here, and just have a quick question. I've done a ton of research but can't get any definitive figures. I have an LN46 hilux and the radiator went bust. None of my local parts stores stock a radiator for this model, and neither does eBay. However, eBay has a ton of radiators for the two generations above (hiluxes with the 2L and 3L engines). My question is: Do radiators that fit the 2L and 3L powered hiluxes (year 1984 - 1990 or thereabouts) fit in my 1982 LN46 Hilux? Or, is someone able to send me the distances between the mounting holes from the radiator if they have a diesel hilux between 1984 - 1990. Cheers, Karl.

Came across something interesting today and thought I would share and make sure my car wasn't being weird. I've driven an Aurion before but I actually own this one and like to experiment ^_^ . When I turn my key to a point between ACC and IGN (halfway before your actually in ignition), things like A/C, auto lights etc respond (no reds/ system checks, optitron still blacked out), and funny enough both radiator/ cooling fans come on as well at full blast. They stay on until I twist fully into IGN, or go back to ACC. The car was cold, on a cold night. I'm assuming this is some sort of back-up cooling method for whatever reason. Has anyone else seen this on their Aurions?

Greetings to one and all. Was curious to see if anyone else had a v8 Hilux and what sort of radiator they had in it. I have a 79 RN46 model with a Holden 308, standard 4 speed with a LN46 radiator and 16 inch thermo fan. Only problem is it gets hot when not running at speed, arouns 40 kph or under even with the fan. Was looking for alternatives to keep this one cool, as its 4WD capabilities are nil. It runs straight gas, goes like a dream on the road now it has a 3.58 centre in the back from 4.875, front diff not yet changed over. When time permits!!

Does anyone know whether the 30mm water temp adapter fits the 2ZZ radiator hose as shown below?

Heeellloo Everyone, I am currently driving an 89 Hi-ace (old model, 85 - 89) and am in need of a new radiator. It's an auto, 2L and I am having trouble because they don't make my version anymore and I am being told that what I need to do is get a manual radiator and retrofit it. This would be fine, but there are 100 ways to do this and I would like some suggestions as what the best might be, also the one one that will not cost me my left arm ;) The alternative is going aluminium, but when I called up he asked me if I was selling it, out of curiosity I said "yes" and he replied "aluminum is fine then". Not a huge confidence booster. Cheers
