Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a 2004 hilux 3.7ltr V6 petrol for $8000 AUD. It's an extra cab and looks in good condition with a few mods on it, there doesnt seem to be any issues with it mechanically, no oil leaks or trouble with the engine. My only concern is that it is the V6 petrol and has 370,000 Kms on it which is a lot for a petrol. Has this engine past it with that many Kms, am I likely to encounter a catastrophic failure in the near future? Thanks for any help guys

I've just bought my first car being a 1976 Celica Ta23 and being completely new to car restorations/rebuilds, I'm in great need for good car advice. Only being 15, I would really appreciate some help on what are some of the best options for engine swaps as the current motor has clocked over 800,000kms. I'm looking for something newer that's more efficient and performs better but still being a 1.6L-2.0L four cylinder engine, that doesnt require too much heartache in installing. I would also love some advice on whats involved in doing such swaps in regards what extra parts/changes etc required.

Hello fellow Hi-Lux owners. I am new to the scene and have "shot myself in the foot" in regards to my recent purchase. Largest problem I am having is the clearance between the exhaust and the slave cylinder is about 5-10 mm (n

Hi, I'm new to this website but its sseems like a very awesome place to ask for advice. So I am on my L's at the moment and will be on my p's by the end of the year, and I'd like to research some possible cars for my p's. I've always been a supra fan and they are great looking cars and quite powerful, though I am not into the whole hooning and racing scene I just like a nice looking car that I can rely on. To be honest I'm quite dumb went it comes to supras but I was wondering is a non turbo supra, preferably from 1994 or newer be a good first car? I'm looking at a price range of 9k-15k, I wou

Hi Boys, Looking to buy the latest gen celica for a first car but having trouble choosing. http://www.carsales....aspx?R=12903364 http://www.carsales....aspx?R=13288788 Could anyone give me a recommendation - the paint issue isnt really a problem with the second car I'm keen on the Celica styling but If you wouldnt buy either, could you recommend a similarly sporty looking car that wont break the bank. It is my first car, but I'm hoping to have it for many years so reliability is fairly important - has anyone had major mechanical issues with thiers?
