Hey all, I picked up my 07 Aurion prodigy yesterday, and I would like some input from other owners about a couple of things. 1- I have a dash cam (Blackvue DR400G-HD) and I would like to hardwire it in, so when the car is off, the camera runs off the car battery. In my old car I had the camera behind the rear view mirror, and the cord running along the top of the windscreen, then tucked away behind the plastic of the A pillar, then into my glove box where the switch was. Then the wires went from the switch, through my dash, and into the fuse box, where I wired it up to the brake light fuse, as there is always power going into that fuse. can anyone recommend a way to wire this into my Aurion? How can I tuck the cords away, and then wire it into a constant power source? Also, My drivers seat electric lumbar doesn't inflate. It just clicks, and it sounds like the teeth are not catching or something. I will be taking it back to CMI toyota, for them to fix under warranty, but has anyone else had this issue? thanks in advance! Alex
Hi All, Has anyone tried the new Uniden iGo series of Dashcam? I wanted to get a picture of how well worth the money these things are. You get a FHD front and rear camera for AUD200 (the iGo cam 50R). Also, if anyone has had a chance to work with the iGo cam 80, what kind of rear camera have you been able to fit with it (cause it supports a rear camera but doesn't come with it). Any help would be much appreciated!! ~Arian
Hey everyone, just purchased a toyota rukus and due to me being in a wheelchair I will be getting it converted to allow wheelchair access into the rear of the vehicle, now to the more important stuff! I wish to upgrade the engine to get at least 150Kw, I don't want to turbo unless completely necessary even though that will put it up to almost 200Kw so I'm looking more for a tune with upgrades such as headers, cold air, cat back and maybe cam if I put an aggressive tune on it, I'm not a mechanic so any advice or feed back would be appreciated! if anyone has done any engine mods please tell me what you've done and talk about the difference it has made Thanks I eagerly await responses! ~Tait
Hi all, Been a while since I popped in. I have been toying with the idea of trying to unplug my reverse camera from the small screen, and plugging it into the larger aftermarket GPS screen which I installed a while back. The unit has all the inputs for the screen ready to go. When I look at the back of the small screen, there is only the standard loom plugin. What im after is a way to unplug from the smaller unit, and re-plug into the larger unit. Does anyone know where the wire is from the camera? It should plug and play quite easily, just a matter of finding the thing!! Any help appreciated. Cheers
