  1. Hello all, my rear sunshade button popped in (under the aircon) on my aurion 2010 sportivo zr6 and I had to pull the centre console up in order to get to it and push it back into place. I noticed that upon lifting it up a black wire not connected to anything and just asking around to make sure something isn't unplugged. There are the two white clip plugs and it's on the same wire group going up to the 12v power outlet behind the gearstick and infront of the centre glovebox. I didn't take a picture when I had it out but I've attempted to take some just lifting it up a bit without re-taking it all off (refer to 3 images below, inside of the unconnected wiring, showing the cable group via side photo and top location of those wires). I figured it might be a spare port for additions just above the power outlet but wanted to double check. Cheers! (Please excuse the mess)
  2. Hi Guys, I bought a 60 series Cruiser new 25 years ago and it has been amazing for all those years. It is a 4 Litre Diesel Non Turbo with about 300k on the clock. The Problem: Driving to the airport the other morning reasonably cold weather say 8c. Early morning (still dark) Every 8 to 10 seconds the engine misses. Not konk out just a miss. I put the high beam on and it becomes more frequent. I varied the speed 60 , 80, 100Km but this made little or no difference. Sitting in the car park, stationary at idle. It is still doing it. Missing every 8-10 seconds. I turn the headlights off and the missing stops and the engine runs smoothly again. It has literally not missed a beat for 300,000 KM Any ideas what could be causing this?   3. I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla Ascent Hatchback (ZZE122), base model, it comes with the standard manual windows. I wanted to ask if its possible to swap in the electric window components from a higher trim model. Are the wires and looms already there? Has anybody ever done this before and are there any issues/barriers I should be aware of? Thanks a lot in advance.
  4. Hey all, I'm attempting to install a lightbar on my 2003 Rav 4 (2 Door) but I seem to be having an issue, the headlight wiring is backwards!!! The highbeam wire seems to have 12v when there is no lights on, parkers are on or the high beams are on. So the lightbar is on/can be turned on anytime? This seems to be unusual and all of my friends cars that I helped install work as normal. Was wondering how I can wire my lightbar up so it is only active when the highbeams are on and then also on/off from an extra button. Whats the secret with the Ravs? (I've done some research but can't seem to find a solution)
  5. Hi guys, Had a question about an issue I am suffering with my Corolla (2007) Ascent. Essentially the gauges (speed, odometer, rev), lights for cental column (air con, fan) are not turning on when I switch on.my headlights. They come eventually. Unfortunately, this may mean minutes without lights on my dashboard. Basically, i can't clear see my speed at night. Headlights and rears work fine. Internal lights above head switch on fine. No issues there. Just my internals on dashboard that are suffering here. I analysed the no.18 fuse (in engine compartment) for "internal lights" but it is not blown. Not an electrician. Could it be the relay though? Any thoughts guys? Thank you.
  6. Dear friends. i change the dash lights and clean my dash very carefully...after fixed back Locks not open with Remote, Compass After switch off need reprogram again interior light not working..etc Can any friend help what should i do... Thanks
  7. Hello all, New member here. I am trying to install DRL on my 2011 Kluger. I have done most of the job however struggling to find a ACC connection in engine bay. On few online posts, it is suggested to T-Tap to high beam or park lights. However by doing so, DRl only comes on when I turn respective light on which is not preferred. They should come on when turning the Ignition on and go off when ignition is off. I have tried to connect to Ignition fuse and Dome light fuse but no luck - DRL stays on even after removing the key. Any help will be highly appreciated.
  8. My names Michael, I OWN A 1998 mcv20r TOYOTA Camry (3.0L V6). I have an issue where by the car will be driving and as soon as I descend down a hill, it will start to ***** around, feels like its trying to fuel cut (I know its not though, just feels like it), then when I pull up at the lights it feels like its trying to stall. I have been informed it could be O2 sensors, Cracked on-board computer board, MAF sensor as well as various other things. I have found that if it does it, I pop the bonnet and tap the EGR Valve with a screw driver it will stop it and run normally, yet I have replaced the EGR valve 4 times. Anyone experienced the same problem or know what it might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Im planning on converting my 3dt kzn185 97 surf motor for a v8 soarer single turbo. im curious about the electrical side of things, obviously the v8 ecm/ecu will be replacing the surf's, though how will the 4wd function? or is that a separate circuit?? im playing around with ideas at this stage, hence why im asking for any insight here instead of reading the manual. Any help much appreciated motor lovers! keep safe...

    Help

    Guys, firstly let me introduce myself, My Name is Simon And i love to do the usual hilux thing and that is off road challenge. I love four wheel driving. Now for my question. My luxy has a gremlin in the lighting electrical where the L/H indicator when lights are on just stays on when the lights are off and i use it the brake lights blink as well. now ive checked all of the connections and they appear to be fine but its got me thinking could it be the combo switch?
