  1. Item: ZRE152 Facelift C-One Wingtips Location: Melbourne, Victoria Item Condition: Used, may need to be polished if keeping the colour, but will need to be resprayed to your required paint colour accordingly if your car is a different colour Reason for Selling: Sold my car, no longer need them Price and Payment conditions: $100 (negotiable) Additional information: Was purchased from Jay (JSKILLS) when he wrote off his Corolla -he parted them out and I bought them originally for $200 but never installed them. Letting them go as I do not need them as I sold my car last year. Also, screws are included but it is highly recommended to either install them with screws AND double sided automotive 3M tape OR have them moulded by a professional panel beater into your existing rear spoiler. Shipping: Willing to ship at buyers expense Pictures: This is how they looked installed on Jay's car when he had them. Contact Details: 0450654345
  2. Hi there, I am in urgent need of help. My girlfriend lost her one and only key for her 2002 Toyota Echo (in Melbourne). It's currently parked up and cannot be used until we find a solution. Does anyone know what can be done? Will we have to by a complete new ignition switch, door barrels and boot barrel? We are scared its going to be very expensive. She still has the push button opener, which allows us to get into the car. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Kind regards Josh
  3. Hi All I've just purchased a Kluger Grande - (late) 2008 model and am loving it. A few little issues that I'm still working out with the dealer (yep - I bought from a dealership) and once they are sorted I'll be happy as Larry. I'm based in Melbourne. I chanced upon this forum while I was looking for a Kluger and there is heaps of great information on here. I look forward to reading and hopefully being able to contribute as well. Cheers, LA
  4. Hey Guys from Melbourne, Driving a 91' Hilux surf, new to this so go easy.
  5. Hey there folks, New member here, just got my very first Toyota (not my family's first one, mum had a '96 corolla a few years ago and dad has a Dyna truck) which happens to be the new Camry Atara R. it also happens to be my first "zero KM" brand new car my first impressions of this car so far (I've put about 190km on the clock since Thursday when i picked it up) are that it is supremely comfortable - that being said my previous cars have all had track-oriented suspensions, heavy sway bars, urethane bushes, solid mounts etc so i'm certain a stock Hyundai Excel would be a comfortable ride to me - as well as really easy to soak up the kilometers i got mine in the graphite color, which personally i think is easily the classiest color this car comes in, closely followed by the pearl white anyway, here are some photos i took, i'll get some more soon i hope to get involved in any cruises or meet-ups that take place down here in Melbourne and get involved in the club
  6. Hi everyone, I just converted my Toyota Vienta 3VZ-FE to run on Sprintgas LPG. I have no idea which kit was fitted into my car. I got a really good deal from a local installer. About $500 out of pocket after the Victorian government rebate. The system installed is a single point vapour injection system. The LPG vapour is fed at the throttle body. I lost nearly half my boot space because of the tank. I didn't opt for the donut tank that some people fit into the spare wheel bay because that would have cost me $300 extra. That being said, I usually only drive by myself or with one passenger. I have the backseat to put all my stuff. The LPG-Petrol switch is located near the fuse box. There was a blank fascia plate which made it convenient for the installer. He didn't have to do any cutting of my dash. Performance wise, you can feel that you need to put your foot down more than usual to get the car going. The low end torque that we love so much about the 3VZ is not there. I found that the power increase is now a much straighter curve towards the higher revs. I think I will need my LPG mechanic to tune my AFM such that I get back the lower torque bump. That being said, I'm used to only revving up to 3k to get off the line to 80kmh which is the speed I usually drive at in suburban areas. Cruising on the highway is no problem at all. I had an issue with the LPG gas causing the engine to idle too low. When I was decelerating from 80kmh, somehow the overdrive/4th gear didn't change up and that caused the engine to stall. Thank goodness I was approaching a red light. Happened another time when I was turning a corner. I brought it back to the LPG installer and he put in a balance line running from the airbox to the LPG mixer. I also decided to change my sparks to the NGK LPG plugs. The loss of low end power was reduced after I switched the spark plugs. I ran my first tank of LPG to zero and then filled it up. It came up to 46.44 litres of LPG. I'm assuming my tank is a 55 litre tank. I am still running on my first full tank of LPG so I'll update you guys on the milelage later on. I'm currently at 200km at the fuel gauge on the switch is showing 2 out of 4 green lights. (red light = reserve). Hopefully I'll get up to 350km from 40 litres of LPG. With an 8cent discount from Coles/Shell, I am about 58.9 cents per litre of LPG. Works out to be less than $25 for a full tank of LPG.
  7. Hi I bought a second hand Aurion a few months ago (2007 ATX) from a Holden dealership. It came with books and it is regularly serviced, Its done now 91,500 KM and I need to take it for the 90KM service. I am not sure if I should take it to Toyota for a service or just a mechanic. I rang 3 different Toyota dealerships and the cost that I was given over the phone to do this service varied from $870 to $1k (Ouch). This is way too expensive so here is what I would like to know 1. do you reccomend that I take it to a toyota dealership to get it serviced there and pay the ridiculous service cost? 2. should I just take it to a mechanic and get him to do the work? I would appreciate your advice please and would also appreciate if you can let me know which mechanic to take it to. I live in Melbourne Northern suburbs and would love to hear if you have any recommendations for a mechanic someone who is honest, reliable and would do things by the book.Obviously someone who knows Aurions. Thanks for your replies and really appreciate your help. Cheers The Mad Doc :)
