I'm putting seat covers in my car and I don't know how to get the back bench seat out to put the seat cover on. Anyone know how?

The electric lumbar support motor in the drivers seat seems to have wound it out to a fully forward position and will not retract. When hitting the button to extend it further forward, it makes the typical noise and clunk of an outer thread unwinding and pushing against the very start of the inner thread where it 'hops down' after reaching the very tip of it. Attempting to wind it the other way (to pull it back in) results in maybe half a turn before it locks up, often accompanied by the overload tripping, meaning I'll be unable to use the motor for ~10 seconds. I've tried several times to get it to catch by just back and forward, but it never does. I've tried to be careful of them, but now believe that either the inner or outer threads - or both - could have been damaged and are now bent or stripped too fine to smoothly catch on again. Has anyone had this and been able to get the thread to catch again, or does anyone have experience in accessing the internals of the seat back and provide any information on how I could manually get in there to do it by hand?

Hey People I recently purchased a 2002 Hilux Single Cab and my only qualm is the bench seat in across the front. The car came with a lot of after market accessories so I have saved myself a pretty penny in that regard however I wish to overhall the seating arrangement in the vehicle. Its a bit beyond my know how so does anybody know any mechanic, car builder that could help me remove the bench seat and make it a comfortable 2 seater. My girlfriend and I are planning an around Australia trip. If anyone can help I am located in South Western Sydney, NSW. Cheers

I am having trouble finding a drivers seat for my '99 Hiace that's in good condition. I have back issues and am wondering if there are any other seat options? (e.g bolt in drivers seats from newer models or other makes). Would it be cheaper to have it reupholstered? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Luke.

Hi Guys I am currently running 2010 Aurion AT-X. I have just got myself a full set of leather seat pull from Hybrid Camry 2010. Hoping it will fit. But It doesn't. The rear seat bottom part fit. The back part of the rear wont fit, the bracket is totally different. The aurion is one piece, the camry comes in 4 separate pieces. I have manage to get hold of all the bracket from the Camry though. The front driver seat will fit with no problem. However, the passenger side will have problem, since the original is normal seat. And the seat i got from the camry is automatic seat. Can someone give me a head-up on this on how can I go forward on doing it? Or maybe suggest a place or someone that can be able to do these modification. I have check with a few local shop and they won't do it. Cos modify seat bracket is illegal from what they said. I will post some picture up soon.
