Hey guys, I just bought my second sportivo today, my previous one I owned only lasted 2 weeks before I crashed her, so still pretty new to the 2zzge community. Both tivos I've owned are 2005 models. The previous tivo I owned already had a CAI and exhaust installed, plus a reconditioned engine and gearbox. New lift bolts, etc. I bought my last one at 180,000 kms, and now the one I bought today is sitting at around 185,000 kms. The one I bought today is bone stock N/A, even stock headunit. Now I'm just concerned with the engine reliability and longevity. Do these engines/cars have a lot of life in them? And how do I get them to last ages? Thanks for your input guys.

Hi all, Does anyone have experience installing an aftermarket head unit in a 2015+ Toyota Corolla Ascent Auto (ZRE182R)? I've recently had a sub and amp wired up to the factory head unit using the line out converter built into my amplifier but it sounds terrible. Attached is a photo of what the head unit looks like in my car. Do the factory units in these cars cut bass at higher volumes? Is the factory unit poor quality? I'm looking at installing a Kenwood DMX7017BTS (https://www.kenwood.eu/car/navigation_multimedia/multimedia/DMX7017BTS/) and also want to retain my factory steering controls, reverse camera and USB port. Hoping someone out there has managed to get an aftermarket head unit put in so I can get some advice/feedback on whether it's worth the $1,000+ investment. Thanks!

G'day all, Up for sale are my stock parts that fit HATCHBACK (and SEDANS in some cases) corollas years 07-09 (pre-facelift & facelift in some cases). All the below parts were on my ascent 2008 zre-152. Please remember all parts are GENUINE OEM from factory. Parts and prices i'm looking for are as follows (ONO APPLIES - any reasonable offer won't be refused!): 1. Ascent spoiler in perfect condition (factory painted in black mica 209): $80 2. Stock airbox with tube & screws & stock panel filter: $80 (2 of the screw holes have been worn out because of the screws twisting into the plastic - still holds in place regardless) 3. Stock Tailights: $140 (will get photos up tomorrow) 4. Stock shocks & springs (done 5,000kms before changing to pedders lowering springs, so they are in near new condition): $150 5. Stock steelie wheels with hubcaps and GOOD YEAR EXELLENCE tyres 15x6 +45 offset, 195/65R15: $500 SOLD The stock steel wheels and tyres have seen about 2,000kms before changing over to aftermarket rims early on after purchase of the car, so tyres are pretty much still new with plenty of tread to go. 6. Genuine Netz Badge (Front) - Fits all 07 - Current Shape: $30 SOLD Please note shipping interstate and possibly international will be at BUYERS EXPENSE. Local (pickup - VICTORIA) gains priority over interstate/international buyers. Pickup location can be organised, just REPLY to this thread with your interest/offers or contact me on TOCAU private message. Thanks for looking Cheers, Tom

Thought I'd join up considering I am a Toyota enthusiast and am now a proud owner of a super clean Cressy. I guess I'll start with some introductions. My name is Lee and I'm 24 years of age. I currently live in Preston Victoria with my girlfriend and I currently work for Aegis Global. I am a Subject Matter Expert (sounds important huh? No...) for the Origin Energy campaign (yes I indirectly work for an energy company). I currently do not have my licence as I have never needed it until recently (bit sad, I know but why pay rego or insurance on something I never needed - public transport was easy between work and uni until now) but I'll be getting it sometime in March. *Update* booked in for 28th of March. My Ride: 1990 Toyota Cressida GLX (Silver - Blue Interior)Bought for $3000 and Stock and Grandpa Spec as hell.180k just ticked over.Straight body, minimal scratches which should come out with a cut and buff.Interior is nearly immaculate.Shifts smooth.Engine had a full bottom end rebuild with new top end gaskets and bolts before I bought it.Previous owner was a grandpa who always garaged and never smoked in it.Tonight when I finish work I'll post some pictures of it. I will also add more detail as I'm currently typing this off my phone and I cbf. Currently my misses is driving it as we both work together anyway. (Since I bought it she refuses to drive her 94 barina until I get my liscence Haha) I am also interested in contributing to some guides and how to's for MX83 owners. Guides I will look into creating are: Alarm Install with Pictures and Wiring Diagrams (I didnt find the Net helpful with my own install and I have successfully self installed it after much digging and testing).Back Seats and Parcel Tray Removal (Rear Shocks and Speaker Install).Headlight Removal (Globe replacement).Taillight Removal (Globe replacement).Door Trim Removal (Speaker Install).Cluster Removal (Globe replacement).Dash Fascia Removal (Head Unit Install).Looking forward to joining this community.
