Hi everyone, i picked up a second hand 2008 Kluger KXR FWD with 165k on the clock on Friday. When I road tested it prior to buying I didn’t notice this issue but now that I’ve had a couple of days with it the issue is pretty noticeable. When accelerating while already in motion, predominantly when travelling at 80+kph there is a significant vibration from the front what is felt through the whole body. Normally i would have suspected wheel balance/alignment but the vibration isn’t felt through the steering wheel. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it engine mounts? Something in the drive shafts? trying to get an idea of how many $$$ I’m up for before I head into a mechanic.

Hi I have a 2016 ZRE182R Corolla Hatch CVT Auto. I have an issue that is doing my head in but not sure if it is just me or if it is normal. Firstly I've never had a CVT auto before so I realise they are a different to a normal auto. Secondly I'm a bit of a conservative driver so I don't drive it like I stole it. The problem is that I've noticed there is a distinct vibration which seems to be from the front of the car. It seems to occur mostly when the rpm's are in the low range of between 1000-1300 rpm. It is not overly bad it is more like a drone noise sort of like the sound of deep base tone that you get from your stereo (if that makes sense?). In fact as I usually have my car stereo on I thought the noise was coming from my speakers at first but it's not. If I tap on the accelerator pedal to give it a few more rpms it goes away but as soon as the revs lower to around 1000 or just above the droning/vibration continues. Even at around 100km/h at just over 2000 rpm I can hear it. The car has 18,000km on the clock. Now that I am noticing it more it is becoming more annoying and I've even considered trading it in for a manual. Although the good points I have noted with the car is I'm getting 5.8L per 100km which is outstanding. Anyway not having owned a CVT before I am wondering if this is normal or could it even be another problem not related to the CVT? If it is not normal of course I would be worried that it might develop in to something major and costly down the track and would rather get it sorted sooner rather than later. Thanks in advance guys and girls :)

Hi all, I bought my '03 Camry Sportivo 2.4L a little while ago. I've since noticed that when in 5th gear I get a vibration/rattle through the gear stick. You can hear it as well (that's what alerted me initially to it). The sound and vibration go away if I have no throttle on. It also sometimes goes away if I pop it out of 5th and then slot it back in. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Many thanks in advance! James

Hi, I bought an used Kluger 2010 a couple of weeks ago. And I noticed a strong vibration and noise when the car starts from coldstart (in the morning or afternoon after a long idle). I know that some other Kluger owners in this forum also experienced the similar issue. Such as below discussion: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/25368-kluger-vibrations/ I would like to know: Is this really a part of normal operation as explained in the above thread? Is there a fix for this? Does the issue have any impact on the engine or the car's lifetime? For those who had this before, do you still experience this issue till now? Thanks guys!

Hi, Ive just recently bought my camry and it has done 50,000kms. It runs beautifully except it has a wobble/vibration at any speed above 30kph. It comes and goes and I can't exactly pick when it happens. I can feel it in the steering wheel and my feet. As well as that I can generally feel it in my seat. I had it wheel balanced and the tyres are Michelin's that are still reasonably new. It isn't a brake shutter because it doesn't vibrate when I'm braking. Can anyone suggest anything?
